"Occupy Building 7" This Week: Place Your Bets!

"the other 99" decided to give the truthers a little feed time..just to be fair. There were about 25 of them that walked around building 7 and then to Zuccati park. The whole thing lasted about 30 minutes max. Very disorganized...they couldn't even stay together. Nice "occupation"...lol.

Looks like it was a Show of Farce.

Even the organiser of the FB event didn't turn up!

We visited NYC from the 15th of Sept until the 22nd. And we had the "pleasure" of seeing these occupiers just above the memorial park. What a bunch of pathetic losers! There was several that looked more like junkies than anything else, a bunch of those "Anonymus" folks, people drinking (like 9 in the morning) heavily... it was a sorry bunch!
On another note; I talked with a police officer (that was guard at the entry gate for the memorial park, right next to the hotel entrance, - I`m a periodically smoker so talking to him was kinda natural); he lost his firerfighter brother-in-law 9/11. His sis was ragingly angry with the twoofers, and he had had to hold her back from clocking a few of them at several memorial services that has been held. They even tried to convince her kids that 911 was bogus, and that really drove her over the top.... What kind of people does this??? (Sorry for the off topic, guys, but it was so....dunno - enrageing to hear about this that I just had to share!)

Thanks for that. I've always got time to hear what New York firefighters think of truthers.

It's my opinion, that Twoofers are SCUM of the Earth! We have al Q. taking complete responsibility for 911. What is their retort? Nuh uh, al Q. is fake...
I don't blame the woman for wanting to smack'em. They should be!

It's fun because they claim they want a new investigation, and yet, have done nothing to get it.

They claim there is all this support for them, and that they are relevant, but can't get 50 people out there, and not even the one who put it on.

Conclusion: We're laughing at them because they're pathetic.

Talking to the cop made a serious impression on me.... He was in Brooklyn on patrol as a rookie 9/11. He didnt see the first plane hit, but he saw the second one approaching and the smoke and flames a little while later. He said the feeling he had, seeing that second plane, was one he never had before, and never hoped to have again. The total feeling of shock, disbelief and helplessness, and knowing that his brother in law was working that day, as well as some of his buddies from the academy. He said it tore his heart out. And I can believe that....

We stayed this last time in The World Centre Hotel... Our room terrace (I had no idea that it was possible to have a 20m2 terrace in Manhattan!) looked straight into GZ and all the builders and machines. It was surrealistic; I went to NYC the first time in 1996, and remember the WTC very clearly. And looking down from that terrace I kept wondering if any of these CT`ers ever been in lower Manhattan? If they did, they would know that any falling debries would definetly hit surrounding buildings..... Anyone that says it wouldnt, have never been to Manhattan at all.
(on a different note; I think I as a Norwegian feel kind of an ownership to the memorial park, since the memorial building/visitor centre is designed by Snøhetta, which is a Norwegian architect firm).
Sorry for wandering so far away from the subject. Its late and I am tired ;)

"There's not enough people here! I'm leaving, so there's even less!"

:dl:

This is hilarious! Truthers turning on each other never gets old. :big:

That feeling was shared by many of us in great and smaller measure. I'm always glad to see people from far places take an interest in battling the forces of ignorance even on our shores, minnemouse. I hope you enjoyed your times in America :) and got to see more than NYC!

I hope I get to Norway some day - Ibsen is one of my fav playwrights, and I'd love to see the places he wrote about and that inspired him.

They are supposed to. The Cowboys play at noon, so I might check out the feed for an hour or so before the game. (assuming theother99 decides to give them any coverage.)

I'm betting they will have even less than the 25 they got yesterday.
