Objectivism vs Libertarianism

The high priests of objectivism?

A small group of people who were members of Rand's inner circle and have since Rand;s death ruled objectivism by a sort of apostolic sucession. A lot of critics have called objectivism a kind of Catholicism for atheists.

And this was suposed to be an argument in favour of anarcho-capitalism?

When some Libertarian writers began talking about how wonderful Somalia was is when I stopped calling myself a Libertarian.
I have a lot of sympathy with the Libertarian concepts of a free market and limited government but they take it to the point of insanity.
Sadly, Libertarianism has become a prime example of ignoring reality because it clashes with ideology.

that is great; makes me chuckle :) I can def can see that

it is not like you have to nominate yourself as a libertarian or a moderate; Swim does not like "titles" or labels because that is all they are

A person can believe in something and not call himself by that name, just discuss the topic; be free!

the part about taking it "to the point of insanity"

how so?

Swim thinks there should be some regulation that enterprises have to avid by; but for the most part, the economy flourishes when the gov't keeps their nose out of it; it is just natural
