"Obamacare" fallout-first datum

I am positive you will flail about to explain why these numbers don't agree with your hypothesis. Good luck with that.
And I'm positive that they will be ignored. Let's see who's right!

How is it debunked? Yes, it's being cut from growth. So what? These cuts were what put the health law in the black.
Interesting spin there--"a cut from growth" that still results in growth doesn't support the claim that $500 million is being cut from Medicare benefits. If your cost of living increase next year isn't what you expected, yet you do get a raise and a higher salary, would you claim your salary was cut?

In fact, the Medicare budget will continue to increase, just not as quickly as it otherwise would have.

In fact, the law also will expand eligibility for Medicare. So overall, Medicare payments will continue to increase.

At least some of the savings is expected to come from improved efficiency of administration and not strictly from less than expected benefit payments.

There's been one round of doc fic already since then, and another one likely within the next few weeks.
Just as predicted, the doc fix gets blocked yet again:
The Senate has passed a $15 billion bill that would block the impending 25% cut in the Medicare payment rate to physicians and instead keep rates steady through 2011.

The cut was scheduled to take effect on Jan. 1, 2011.
I'm shocked shocked shocked etc.
