The executive order on immigration does not discriminate against individuals because of their faith or religion. It discriminates based on their country of origin. That's a pretty big difference.

What I'm against is our government giving preference to anyone based on their religion. All Trumpler had to do to keep his [offensive, pointless] executive order clean in this regard is omit the following clause:

So, assuming that you've read the order, now you have the opportunity to go back and read for comprehension.

Note the slope in Bush's rating. He started OK, got a nice spike from everybody after 9/11, then it is just a ski slope as the incompetence showed up.

Obama started poorly among the GOP and never went anywhere, his approval rating with the Democrats stayed pretty constant. Looks pretty decent to me.

Pretty much this is an exceptional time and these are exceptional events.
