That's actually less than the percentage who voted for Romney in 2012.

I don't think it makes sense to include a sitting president in the poll.

My vote for worst president since WWII is Mr. Guns and Butter, Lyndon Johnson. He lied to get us into Vietnam. His legacy is 50,000 Americans dead and many more permanently damaged to delay the inevitable collapse of South Vietnam for a few years. Plus we have him to thank for the War On Drugs.

As was already common knowledge, this country is full of idiots. Though, based on the age breakdown on this and other polls (regarding Creationism, acceptance of gay rights, for instance), it is becoming gradually less stupid.

My opinion is that what this poll actually indicates is that the country is getting more divided, thanks to people getting their news from like-thinking outlets and talk shows. People who might have been middle-of-the-road once are now taking extreme positions. I'm pretty sure you'd see the same effect if you ranked this Congress compared to others in the last century. Except even more unpopular.

- 9/11

- The starting of two costly and protracted wars

- The mishandling of the Hurricane Katrina aftermath

- The crashing of the economy

Can anyone point to one thing on Obama's watch that competes with any of that?

- Instituting torture as an official foreign policy tactic

- Dramatically increasing the size and scope of the government through the DHS

- Outing a CIA spy

- The Jack Abramoff scandal

- Using a male escort to lob softball questions at press conferences?

- Abu Graib

- Firing the US Attorneys en masse for refusing to pursue trumped up "voter fraud" nonsense

- Appointing 150+ graduates of Pat Robertson's "law school" to the Justice Department

- Censoring/doctoring scientific reports that dealt with climate change

Honestly, anyone who thinks Obama is a worse president than Bush is an idiot. A complete and utter idiot.

Looking at Wikipedia Obama was ranked 15th by the only scholarly ranking that included him. W's aggregate score ranked him 34th and Carter's aggregate ranked him 27th.
