Well, a couple of the biggest high-profile producers, anyway. It's not going to happen anyway, so nevermind...

What sucks, is that this may in fact be good news for the herb producers. OK, some will stop using it, but the rest will have to buy twice as much, and since there is no such thing as bad publicity, they will get many new costumers.

Maybe so and maybe not. My wife, a pagan and very wooish about many things saw the article and said she would have to rethink her use of echinacea. Of course, she has the advantage of living with a skeptic who points these things out...

Yeah, well my cure of Arizona Ginseng Iced Tea and Lemon-Lime Gatorade still works! I get a cold and I start drinking it and it's gone in a few days.

What do you mean "being hydrated" helps? Don't give me that crap. It's totally the ginseng and the lemon-lime. Goddamned skeptics. Why can't you just believe?!
