Not encouraging anybody, RT, just sticking up for my Fraternity. Examining unfounded fundamentalist attacks on Freemasonry was one of my earliest exercises in critical thinking.
 
but i dont mind the discussion about it, if Love wants to make a case for numerology based on the number 3, im sure we could find it everywhere.

eg. the father, the son, the holy ghost.

we could sit and watch the ticker on CNN and pick out tens of numbers to play the CT game with, but we'd have to forget that there are thousands of them being displayed throughout the day. what do they call it, the law of truely large numbers.

i dont know if she/he really believes that the world is run by a fraternal organization, or if the president of the united states is the anti-christ, or in the NWO garbage, but im pretty sick of hearing Bull&%$t theories about the take over of the world.

my opinion is that Freemasonry is as old as the hills and if we were gonna take over the world and turn you all into zombies to do the work of some dark lord, we'd have done it by now!!!

Hmm, it could do then:

11/1/2006=11/1/8=111*8=888

Jesus! (in greek numerology)

of course it's also:
11/1/2006=11/1+2+6=11/9

OMG it's the longest chapter in the bible!

11/9 and 666 in one date, wow!

What does it mean?

Perhaps it means that I have spent too much time playing with my pocket calculator.

Or perhaps it's something to do with the pope or the antichrist.

Why would the terrorists plan a specific date like 6/6/06, do they want to send a message to us using these specific dates, I mean 911, was that a message or something, I don't know...
 
I guess love also dosen't know that the oldest copy of the book of revelation lists the number of the beast as 616, not 666...

So does the universe use the American or European format for writing dates? Because if it's American, that means the attack will happen on June 1st. But if it's European, my city was attacked five days ago and I missed it.

OK, I go away for a few days, I return and love is still a fountain of garbage.

I used to play those kinds of games with dates and room numbers and addresses and phone numbers. It kept me amused, helped me to relax my brain so I could sleep, improved my arithmetic, and if I found anything kinda nifty, it helped me remember that date/room number/address/phone number. (Although to be honest, most phone numbers I remembered by the shape they would make when I dialed the four digits after the exchange.)

While I would be fascinated at times by some of results, I don't recall ever attaching some kind of marvelous significance to them. I recall the feelings I've already listed, but not any kind of deep connection.

Somehow, knowing why you Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally helps somewhat with understanding why playing these games never gives any significant result. Have you taken pre-algebra, love?
