I do believe Gingrich thinks. Prides himself on it and could be interestingly oppositional vs. a GOP congress.

I keep hearing about how much Newt thinks. I haven't seen much evidence of it.

Which could make a Newt run really interesting - anyone current congressional Republicans dislike can't be all bad. I do believe Gingrich thinks. Prides himself on it and could be interestingly oppositional vs. a GOP congress.

I do have to admit that the fat-headed doofus does spend a lot of time thinking up some interesting stuff. So does Charlie Sheen.

Someone pointed out that Callista could be a liability - an "other woman" in the White House?

I would so love to see Callista out on the stump for Newt. The helmet-haired, pancake-made-up bimbo who lured an already successful and financially secure married man away from his second wife while the second was suffering a long-term illness and lived high on the hog, partly on money that Newt was supposed to being paying in child support, versus the successful lawyer who married an up-and coming law student and is raising two beautiful daughters and setting an example for young women who were begining to think that there was no place for them at the upper levels of society because of an accident of birth.

Now, which of them is going to make Americans feel better about their society?

I've heard that one reason Gingrich did so well in SC was because of the open primary format, and there were a number of Democrats which went to the polls to cause turmoil for the GOP.

Has anyone seen any evidence that would substantiate this claim?
