Sorry - to yet again pick your brains guys. However I am curious to know if anyone has actually seen the text of either of these quotes

"How I Learned to Love the New World Order" - article by Sen. Joseph R. Biden, Jr. in the Wall Street Journal (April 1992)

"How to Achieve The New World Order" - title of book excerpt by Henry Kissinger, in Time magazine (March 1994)

When you google, all I seem to get it is reference to the article, but never an actual link to either article

Looks like it's time for a trip to that crazy anachronism, the liberry!

I don't think you'll get much sense out of the yanks today MG. It's Superbowl Sunday or something.

I think maybe they were referring to the political expression (from Wikipedia:

New world order, a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and thought of the balance of power among nations

Funny enough, when I searched google for "How I Learned to Love the New World Order" I only found conspiracy sites and blogs... There people have way too much time on their hands!

The NWO is run by the Colts. Need to ask a Colt for a quote.

The Bears will have to try again next year.

Tom Jefferson talked of a new order for the ages; or something as we tried to stop paying taxes to England and hide from the King. Maybe TJ has some quotes to stir up the CT world and those fearful of a NWO. (old quotes)

Ahh yes Superbowl Sunday - And the Colts won. Is Indy burning yet? I do understand thats the custom yes? The winner gets to riot anf burn their town down :p

Thanks for the thought Gravy but I have extreme doubts my local service would have either publication dating so far back

And I have to say I find it odd, the only reference I can find is on NWO/Troother sites. Should my radar be up, or am I getting silly

Here is the Time Magazine article about Kissinger's book.

The article is titled "How The World Works".

The only mention of New World Order in the article is on page 3:
"American idealism remains as essential as ever, perhaps even more so. But in the new world order, its role will be to provide the faith to sustain America through all the ambiguities of choice in an imperfect world."

Not very damning, and quite inconsistent with what CTers mean with NWO, but who cares about details ...

Boy if that were true I would hope Camden NJ had a superbowl team.

Thanks you guys - One day I am going to learn how to do real research :(

As tr00thers like to forget, the phrase "New World Order" was in common usage in the early 1990's. Back then, after the collapse of the USSR, it meant the as-yet undefined manner the nations of the world would realign themselves now that the capitalism/communism dichotomy was over.

IIRC, both of the sources in the OP believed that the "New World Order" would be based in strong economic competition between nations leading (in some Adam Smith invisible hand way) to a more prosperous world ecomony overall. They also foresaw growing pains as the US found its place in a world economy. That's what they meant.

But "tr00thers" love to confound the definition of words, changing them now and then pretending that their new meaning was in place years earlier. They also claim "pull" means to demolish a building with explosives although on September 11, 2001, the only meaning the word had in CD circles was to pull down a building using cables and no explosives.

Grrrr.

This reminds me of several years ago when I was trying to find out what the CTers had against the Trilateral Commission. Not only could I not find that out, but I could also not find very much at all about the Commission...leading me to believe that they hadn't had much of an impact on anything.

Of course, if I had only known, I would have realized that the very lack of information was itself evidence of their evil dark hand at work.
