The very fact that you think that is itself a demonstration of several schizophrenic traits.
Rather than rely on a single person's statement, why not take
this self-quiz?
It is only twelve questions, but I think that if you answer honestly it will indicate strong schizophrenic tendencies. You do hear voices others do not and you do talk back to them. You do have difficulty expressing yourself as is evidenced by how hard it has been for you to convince anyone here that your view of testing/credibility/probability is at all logical. You don't have a lot of contact with your family. You've said you have powers that nobody can explain and that people are out to get you. You believe you're being treated unfairly because of your abilities (you think we're lying or teasing you with our answers and you accuse us of engaging in a conspiracy to deny your powers).
Take the quiz. I hope you won't disregard the results.
LL, you said:
You do hear voices others do not and you do talk back to them.
I would rather say: "I do hear voices and I do talk back to them."(without the "others do not" part). The reason for this is that my apparent "thought broadcasting" is (in my opinion) so strong that many people are probably well aware of the torture and harassment I have to go through (and I believe there is evidence for this, for example car drivers near my apartment honking in a way that appears to be correlated with what the voices have recently told me).
You do have difficulty expressing yourself as is evidenced by how hard it has been for you to convince anyone here that your view of testing/credibility/probability is at all logical.
It's not up to me to say if I express myself well or not. However, I note that calebprime said recently:
Michel.
...
You write well. ...
(thank you, caleb)
In addition, contrary to what you seem to believe, I don't feel it has been hard to "convince anyone here that my view of testing/credibility/probability is at all logical."
These few quotes prove it:
I for one applaud the OP for the seemingly good-faith testing and analysis he's done to this point. Do you now have a hypothesis better nailed down? If you carry out several more studies, and in each one the direct, quality answers are correct whereas the questionable ones are not...there will still be a long ways to go before we can start talking "proof", but you will at least have my interest.
(shortly after I presented the analysis of the first test)
Well this is certainly one of the most robustly controlled experiments I have encountered.
(sorry for repeating this)
Hurray.
Congratulations on once again proving telepathy.
I won't complain about my low credibility rating. ...
Bravo. I salute you.
... Congratulations.
(Problem: he seemed to change his mind later, like ..., like whom? Who seemed to change his mind later? Well, I don't remember. Anyway, changing his mind is not necessarily a sign of schizophrenia

)
I believe that the statements above were most probably made by people who were sincere and serious when they said these things (I see no reason to doubt this). There are probably not many parapsychologists in the world who can boast such positive comments about their work, on a skeptical site.
You've said you have powers that nobody can explain and that people are out to get you. You believe you're being treated unfairly because of your abilities (you think we're lying or teasing you with our answers and you accuse us of engaging in a conspiracy to deny your powers).
Well, let's say that I hear hostile voices. But this doesn't necessarily mean that, for example, you, Loss Leader, or your wife, are using your telepathic powers to say nasty things in my head (the voices usually express themselves in French). Large scale criminal phenomena affecting weak people are frequently of some complexity. Let's say also that I believe that people on this ("skeptical") forum are frequently intellectually dishonest, and that they emphasize things, of which they probably don't even believe the first word themselves. I believe that many on this forum could be described as "skeptical actors". I believe also that many (but not all) of the comments in "my telepathy threads" have been, hmm, let's say, a little bit "on the stupid side".
Now, your schizophrenia test (though I don't believe it's likely I am a schizophrenia sufferer, I briefly answer to it with the hope of clarifying a few things for the members of this forum):
1. I feel that others control what I think and feel.
No, not at all. I hear voices, but this doesn't mean that voices control me.
2. I hear or see things that others do not hear or see.
Well, I believe probably other people know about these voices too. Here I hesitate between "Not at all", "Just a little", and "Somewhat". If I have to choose, I choose "Not at all" because I believe my thought broadcasting is probably very strong.
3. I feel it is very difficult for me to express myself in words that others can understand.
Not at all.
4. I feel I share absolutely nothing in common with others, including my friends and family.
Not at all.
5. I believe in more than one thing about reality and the world around me that nobody else seems to believe in.
Not at all. (Note that they say "more than one thing". I feel that I frequently have opinions that are different from the views of the majority, but I would not go so far as to say that nobody else holds these views. I remember that my maternal grandmother once told me: "Michel you have to be like the others". This is something I have never forgotten, and I believe there is truth in this.)
6. Others don't believe me when I tell them the things I see or hear.
When I explain the voices, I usually don't get the reaction that people don't believe the symptoms. Some people don't
seem to believe the explanation (which doesn't mean they really don't believe it).
Not at all.
7. I can't trust what I'm thinking because I don't know if it's real or not.
I wonder if the person who created this questionnaire doesn't have herself light symptoms of schizophrenia, because I don't find this question very clear.
Not at all
8. I have magical powers that nobody else has or can explain.
Not at all.
I believe I have a telepathic specificity that other people know, but are reluctant to recognize. I don't believe I have magical powers. Telepathy is not magical, radio is not magical either. You should perhaps read the book "Mental Radio" by Upton Sinclair, with a preface by Einstein for the German edition (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_Radio).
9. Others are plotting to get me.
Not sure the word "plot" is really appropriate here. For example, when people lie to me on this forum, I don't think they really need to secretly discuss together for half an hour before answering. I believe people lie a lot on this forum, and they do so probably because they don't like to tell a certain truth, and because they feel protected by the lies of others. Most of the persecution against me does not really require "plotting". It's perhaps easy for anyone to say telepathically "Kill yourself", no plotting needed (although there might be plotting, I don't know). I also want to say that I have been doing telepathy tests for several years, and people (volunteers) have helped me in this.
Not at all. (with a doubt)
10. I find it difficult to get a hold of my thoughts.
Not at all.
11. I am treated unfairly because others are jealous of my special abilities.
Not at all.
I believe I am probably "special", different from the majority as far as telepathy is concerned. But I do not view this as a good quality which should raise jealousy.
12. I talk to another person or other people inside my head that nobody else can hear.
Not at all.
I believe I (probably) talk telepathically to other people, who are different from me, and who are outside my head.
At the end of the test, your website
http://psychcentral.com/cgi-bin/schizophreniaquiz.cgi said:
"...
You have answered this schizophrenia screening in such a way as to suggest that you are not likely currently suffering from schizophrenia or a schizophrenia-related disorder. ..." (I have, however, had doubts for questions 2 and 9, so perhaps another result could have been possible; I don't rule out giving different answers if I take this test again at another time)
Note that, at the bottom of their "schizophrenia screening test", they say:
Used here under fair use; scoring has been adopted for online use.
They probably meant "adapted", instead of "adopted". This seems to confirm my suspicion that the authors of this test might be suffering from a very light form of schizophrenia themselves. Nothing serious though
