Sounds like a religion. Except they want no money, so I guess it is a send up of religion and other such organisations.
Masonry is a quasi-religious org, just set against "establishment religion" its certainly unorthodox - but it was essentially a place for free-thinking religious people to speculate about life in their own, more private religious way. A very interesting product of the Enlightenment and a moment where religious practise was becoming much more diverse in conception and in practise. A very curious blend of beliefs was common in most local chapters: some became enamoured with greek philosophy and many were obsessed with the Temple of Solomon. Many more were actually typical christians in a way we would recognize today (more "laissez faire").
But researching into them it became clear quite early they have always been a religious type of fraternity - even if it was a more modern religious development they were certainly caught up in the idea of god and rituals of belief and bond....
This is interesting. Its not obviously satire - and someone has put quite a bit of effort into the website and content (for a joke).
I couldn't work out why someone had created all that (I'm discounting the possibility that it really is the front for a millenia old secret society!).
I skimmed through the "THE FIRST TESTAMENT of the ILLUMINATI" - but it stops just as its about to get to the exciting secret stuff - and directs you to Amazon to buy the full book.
Ahhhhh - so the whole thing is an elaborate marketing device to get people to spend $10 on a book!!!
There are 863 reviews on amazon with an average of 4.9 stars out of 5 - which looks good until you see that a lot of the positive reviews have been submitted by IDs where this is their only review. Wow - someone has put a lot of effort into this!
I imagine some of the positive reviews are genuine - from people lapping up this stuff. Hilariously - some of the negative reviews are people saying "this isn't the real illuminati - the real one is blah blah".
I have a grudging respect for whoever put it all together. A better job that the average internet scam. Maybe they really believe its all true?
I wish it was true - it doesn't even come accross as very evil - and I'd love it if someone, somewhere actually had a plan!

Masons require a member to believe in God ,but leave the exact definition of God to the individual member.
In practice, any Religious discussions at Masonic Meetings are frowned upon, just like political discussions are frowned upon, and the having to believe in God is just a formality.
My father is a past grand Master - it is not a belief in God, but rather a belief in the Divine that is required.
Wtf???Fear not for your war-stricken, poverty-ridden planet: help is on the way.
You think the Illuminati is important, but they are as NOTHING compared with the mighty Velominati. Check out rule 5.

Better than certain other parts broken!!!!They turned me down because I can't be illuminated.
Broken filament.

They got better. Now they're the Welluminati.
I have searched my entire 60 years looking for the 'Zionist Occupational Government'. I want to join them because even an evil plan is better than no plan at all.
ZOG is supposedly organized along the lines of the 'protocols of Zion'. Some say that it was originally meant as a parody. However, read the document. Protocols is probably still better for the human condition than most of the 'real' political platforms.
Alas, I never found it. Let us face it. The 'Protocols of Zion' isn't Jewish or even proIsrael.Even the Arabs would be better off under the Protocols. It couldn't hurt there any worse than what the Arabs are now doing to themselves.
Salaam!
there is no one in control - its just chaos.
If I'm wrong and one of the CTs is true - then sign me up. I would enthusiasticaly join the cause of the New World Order, the Illuminati, or the reptillian overlords. I'll overlook quite a bit of evil if necessary.

Well the assumption that they 'exist' also implies that they really have been in control of events - and for some reason the seemingly messed up world we see around us was necessary for their aims. Why would you join the NWO? If theyve done such a crappy job controlling the world, why would you want to be a part of their nefarious agenda?

In that case I'd join them :
1. for simple self interest - join the winning side
2. to learn how the world really works - ie apparently they understand this
3. to help them further their master plan - which if not too evil could easily be a better outcome for the world than the chaos we actually see
4. if they turn out to be really evil - I could become a mole and leak their secrets to the CTers. Imagine that on Wikileaks and the Alex Jones show. Of course now I've said that they won't take me - damn.
But I fear this fantasy won't be happening anytime soon...
