New England Skeptics Get-Together?

The Possability of a Car Pool

Hello, all!
I have confirmed that I will be joining this get-together. I will be driving up there, from the suburbs north of New York City.
If anyone joining this get together lives between there and Wells Maine, and a reasonable distance from my route, I could pick you up!
However, I only have four passenger seats in my car (or fewer if someone is a very large person). So, it's first-come-first serve.
Any takers?

Can't say I need to take you up on it but was wondering where abouts in the burbs of NYC and Westchester County are you? I'm currently residing just north of Danbury, CT.

In case you missed the other thread there is also a second get together in NYC in late Mayso we can all trash MWare's place and welcome our Canadian neighbor Jas, the Queen herself. You are welcome to join us then as well. It's the Big Apple Babes thread in this sub fora.

Some mysterious city in lower Westchester. I'm actually looking to move in the next few months, but it will also most likely be in Westchester. Someplace near Purchase, where I work now.

I'll look into that NYC thread right now. I'm not too far from there. Thanks!

About 20 minutes drive outside of Albany. The date is the 8th, which would be a Saturday, although I'm willing to lodge a few people on Friday and Saturday night if they need it.
If they stop by.

Aw man, this means I have to share the liquor, don't I?

Thanks for the reminder Tanja. We should make sure folks know that the NH get together is in ME and it's for anyone in NE (including CT, MA, VT and RI) or the UK and even NY by special invitation. Other __s are welcome to apply.

The place is in Wells, Maine, the weekend is May 5 to 7 and there are plenty of rooms available. Anyone who wishes to stay the weekend at the special JREF discount please PM me before April 8.
 
OK, I'm coming for just Saturday. I have so damn much stuff going on. I'm actually going to be coming from Massachusetts now. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone (again). :eusa_dance:
 
I, and maybe Mrs Beady, are going to try to make it, but can't be definite about anything. We're back in Vermont, now, but I just did the taxes last night, during which I discovered that there really is both a god and a devil (it took a Savior to come up with TurboTax, and surely Satan had something to do with the bottom line). We'll have to see how the bank account looks in a couple of weeks.
 
Put me on the maybe list as well. I'm going to try hard to make it but things are a bit up in the air right now.

Don't let the cost of a room get in the way. In the spirit of Easter weekend I've resurrected the "last call for reservations". We can still add another condo at this point and when we all share the cost it will still be ridiculously cheap, comfortable, good privacy, and cheap. PM me by Monday 4/17.

That does seem logical, but I'd better not commit to that. Depending on what's going on, I might be heading back to Boston or possibly right to Vermont.

But I am coming. You've all been warned now.

We need to put you back on the yes list...I spoke with rebecca last night, and we decided that 2/3 of our group hug won't be enough.* So you gotta be there.






*ok, so the actual phrase used was "Boo sandwich", but whatever...
