[derail]Mr. Pinch, there needs to be a review of some of your activities over the last four years as well.
Ladies and gentlemen, Pinch is Instapinch the blogger and Sweet Pea, the 4-year member of Democratic Underground. The trouble is, these worlds rarely informed each other of their presence. As you can tell by his blog, Pinch is a self-described "right wing reactionary." And DU is not a right wing kind of place.
How did he pull this feat off, you may wonder? Well, Pinch followed the rules. He rarely based the Democratic candidates at all. Only recently when the whole Obama-Hillary knifefight took over did Sweet Pea throw a few beaners at Obama's skull. But he blended in. He basically stuck to the September 11th forum and reserved his criticisms for the 9/11 truth movement advocates that posted there.
Just a couple of days ago, he posted this same review at DU. He didn't link to his blog of course. He just published his review. Another person did a quick Google and found his blog. She linked to it, thinking Sweet Pea was plagiarizing (she says). I looked at the link and noticed the picture. Sweet Pea had posted a picture of himself and his lovely missus, and the guy at the blog was obviously the same person. I thought, "huh, Sweet Pea's got a blog," and then posted a confirmation of him being Instapinch at DU, not realizing the content of his blog other than skimming the review.
I have to go back to work, but obviously all Hades broke loose at DU. Maybe Pinch can fill you in on the rest. Pinch, definitely give them the links to Rigorous Intuition. The short story is that these people pitching a fit are trying to use it to overthrow DU itself. They don't care one single bit about DU and their actions prove it. It's been one of the most dangedest things I've been part of on the tubes.
