I am forever amazed at how so many people actually believe that the NAZI's were and are "right wing" anything. In the continuum of absolute totalitarian rule on the left and absolute freedom, anarchy, on the right any rational thought will reach the conclusion that the NAZI's are very far left. They are very much akin to the communists, marxists, socialist, progressive etc. than with the freedom required by capitalism. Ignorance is thinking like a progressive I guess.

Is it the American "Thinkers" opinion that the Apollo Moon Landings never happened because Nazi's contributed to rocket science? Or is it just Global Warming and Evolution that the American Thinker chooses to apply this amazing reasoning to? It should go without saying that in the Real World we don't determine the validity of a scientific theory by looking at links to the Nazis.

Actually there is nothing new about this. That has been a standard hard right wing line since the Birch Society started pushing it back in the early 60's. Glenn Beck has "populized" that theory recently.
And I have seen some of the Left who try to prove that Stalin was actuall on the right wing of the political spectrum.....
I get very frustrated by the inability of many ideologues to see ANY evil on their end of the political spectrum.

Next it was "The science is Fudged" ala Climategate, which was debunked by three independent reviews.

Now it's "The Nazis did it."

The denier crowd has nothing left in the field of science to refer to so the WOO begins.

The sad fact is that it actually is effective in misguiding many intellectually less fortunate people.

So who is the next group, or entity, that will be misrepresented to scare the feeble?

What's really sad is that one of the two political parties in this country is participating in the WOO. That's really pathetic.

Monckton, who is neither a "Lord" or a scientist, also called for people infected with AIDS to be interred in concentration camps... for life.
