This brings to mind my foggy memory of the skeptical JFK assination book, Case Closed.

I remember it mentioned that within minutes of Pres. Kennedy being shot that every law enforcment officer in Dallas flooded the area and questioned everyone. They had FBI, local police, Secret Service etc. Imagine if that level of scrutiny was given to every criminal event. What if a crackhead sticking up the local 7-11 resulted in the area around the store being locked down and flooded with every law enforcment person avaliable. What coincedences would be found? How many conflicting stories could be found? How many people would misinterpret what they saw or greatly exagerate it? How many people would fabricate stories out of whole cloth just to get in on the action? I think when this much detail is gathered there is going to be plenty of noise. Some people fixate on the bits of noise and fit elebarate stories to the noise instead of looking at the larger facts.

Maybe I'm just being way too simple here, but they seem to be making much of the owner's comment about "pulling it."

Is there a possibility, any possibility at all, that he either said "pull OUT" and it wasn't clear in the recording, or that he MEANT to say "pull out" and in the stress of the moment he said "pull it" instead?

Nah, I guess that's far too easy and rational. Yup, it's just gotta be a huge conspiracy. Yeah, that's it.
 
Why would the fire department commander need permission from Silverstein to quit putting a fire out? Where did Silverstein receive this call? How do you explain all the bombs heard going off in WTC7 by rescue workers prior to it's collapse? How do steel box columns telescope down on themselves?

Just an idea, but I'm guessing that the boxes would "Telescope" down on each other because of a lack of lateral force being applied.
