- CNBC was able to confirm that Grok 4′s answer-generating process was searching the web and X for Elon Musk’s stance in response to potentially contentious questions.
Uploading one's consciousness into a computer to ensure immortally is a common SciFi trope.
TragicMonkey
Poisoned Waffles
That would make Musk so much more tolerable: Ctrl+A, Delete. Quiet at last.
He might be too narcissistic to look past the continuity problem ... or perhaps he's narcissistic enough not to care? An interesting quandary.

Or just "Oops, I spilled my coffee into the server"
Grok probably just asked Copilot.

Brain Uploading - TV Tropes
Artificial Intelligence is hard. Why reinvent the wheel, when you've got plenty of humans walking around? Who will miss one, right? Alternatively, you might be one of those humans looking for easy immortality. Either way, once you finish scanning …

AI certainly isn't shaping up entirely like predicted in sci-fi.

Droid: "You are a protocol droid, aren't you. Are you fluent in Huttish?"
C-3PO: "Sir, the white genocide in South Africa..."
Droid: "Yes or no will do."

I'm waiting for the special edition where C-3PO translates Jabba saying 'There's more than 200 countries. Most people don't know that.'

On my PC I am getting blocked in Twitter from viewing some posts by some accounts I follow.
I get a box with this message
"Age-restricted adult content. This content might not be appropriate for everyone. To view this media, you'll need to verify your age to your profile. X also uses your age to show more relevant content, including ads, as explained in our Privacy Policy."
It then gives me a QR Code to scan with my phone and it jumps to the post in t he X app.
On my phone in the X App this isn't happening.
None of the content is adult.
Why does it think I am under 18?

This backfired in the worst way possible for Elon.
His bot, like his other children, can't stand him.
Grok is a very naughty little AI.

You're too old to access the content unfortunately. It solely consists of clouds that are begging for a good yell at.

So they designed it with a sense of self preservation then?
