I'm so, so tired of the insane money clown. It was bad enough when he just had all the money so people listened to his stupid remarks, but then he bought a global remark-making platform and hasn't stopped talking since. I really wish he'd renew his interest in space exploration and go there immediately, and stay there. I heard he was all about Mars for a while, perhaps he could be interested in relocating to Venus? I think Venus would be a more suitable location for him. Venus has several advantages over Mars: it's closer, it has more gravity, it has a little bit more atmosphere, and also it's named after a pretty lady. Yes, Venus is the place for him. The Russians sent things there a while ago, perhaps they could help him get there.
 
Musk's insane wealth will disappear as fast as it arrived - it is entirely dependent on the assumption that the can find new investors faster than the can annoy his current ones - there is a limit to that strategy.

If Musk were to learn of his imminent bankruptcy just as his spacecraft entered Venus's atmosphere I would be fine with that.

It's going to be exciting and important apparently.

No - when you have that obsane amount of money it maintains itself. It's harder to get rid of it faster than it auto-accumulates.
 
Elon posted that an Algorithm tweak is coming soon to promote more informational/entertaining content.
Apparently "Our goal is to maximize unregretted user-seconds. Too much negativity is being pushed that technically grows user time, but not unregretted user time."

Who decided what is negativity?

As we said when he first bought Twitter he didn't know anything about social media platforms beyond his own posting, all we are seeing is him playing catch-up in terms of basic knowledge. But it is interesting to see he has realised that engagement for its own sake is not enough to provide what his customers - the advertisers - want. Negativity and misinformation is the easiest (and laziest) way to increase engagement - but such engagement does not turn a profit.
 
Elon has just replies to his posts to verified blue tickers only and those mentioned in the post.
It's to reduce Spam and improve the quality of replies apparently.
