Cont: Musk buys Twitter II

One thing to point out: this was an audio only stream. That means the amount of data they needed to "broadcast" was orders of magnitudes less than if they had used a video stream. That makes the site's inability to cope with the load far more egregious.

I wonder if his firing frenzy took too many of the good debuggers? Some excellent programmers in terms of productivity are not so strong in the skills required to find a problem when or before it happens. They write what I call "optimistic code".

Almost certainly. He was judging engineers by how much code they were committing to the code repository. People fixing bugs almost invariably produce less code than people writing new features.

I've had a couple of very productive days where my lines of code committed was in the negative hundreds.
And as I've mentioned, when IBM announced the KPI for programmers would be KLOC the very next day new profiles were ready for the code editors adding every optional field set to the default value, every opportunity to expand a bit of code to multiple lines was set etc.

IANAL, but having seen various lawyers commentary on the suit, the consensus appears to be that nothing makes it illegal, but Elon really wants it to be.

Alternately, there's the "Harass them so hard to deter anything further from anyone" angle.

Last I heard, Musk's already been successful at getting rid of his more direct target here, nevermind that they did nothing wrong, illegal, or improper. They crossed him, so he waged war against freedom and has struck a blow against it.

**** Musk for his hatred of Free Speech whenever it's inconvenient to him.

It's stuff like this that proves how much of an enemy to Free Speech he actually is, no matter how much some try to pretend otherwise.

Wait, Elon Musk said “go **** yourselves” and the people who he said it to decided not to give him money? IANAL but he must have a rock solid case, eh Sampson!?

Legal Eagle talking about Musk suing the people who he told to "go **** yourself" for taking him at his word.

Legal Eagle at about 1:30:
Now I'd like to assume that this video was generated by Twitter AI because I don't think a human could be that robotic, but I actually don't think an AI could be as robotic as Linda Yaccarino is in that particular video.

Gold!

Oh, careful, you're making the same mistake that I made.

Sampson was a stupid guy in the Bible that was very strong.

Samson isn't very strong.

I'm still having trouble understanding what made the "boycott" illegal.

The only thing I’ve seen is some MAGA hats referencing some investigation congress did that somehow proved collusion to not but ads on Twitter.

This investigation seems to have been run by Gym Jordan and several other crazies and uses a lot of weasel language to imply what they believe.

I don’t know if LE addresses this but I haven’t seen a single lawyer say this has any chance. Especially since his effort at judge shopping fell apart.

But the blue check brigade thinks he has a fine case.

Perhaps she is a good speaker but not a good actor so when she is saying something she doesn’t believe….

That's what I was thinking. As a comparison look at every spokesperson for Trump. It's hard to be taken seriously and act in a professional manner when you know everything you're saying is complete bull ****, so you start to do things you think are natural.
