For the record, according to Wikipedia, Musk has had "at least twelve children". He had six with his first wife, Justine Wilson, of whom the first died from SIDS. The other five are a pair of twins and triplets (from IVF). The eldest of these is Vivian. She is the trans child but she is twenty now, so not really a child.

I'm not sure of the context in which "not doing bad for a dead bitch" was said, but I imagine that was Vivian's response to her dad saying she was dead to him.

Calling his child a billionaire would likely be a flat out lie from the start. Even moreso given that the child in question officially cut all ties with Musk right after they were legally allowed to make that choice, despite that financial incentive not to do so. Further insults based on little other than the fact that they finally spoke up and smacked back at Musk after he slighted them very publicly yet again are deplorable.

I doubt Musk relies on wealth for validation.

What was fake about the actual facts that have been pointed out? To be clear, I'm not talking about the straw man that your words suggest that you're talking about, but rather the actual things said.

Related to that in actual factual territory, Musk went to great efforts to prevent people from being allowed to examine the data after examinations of the data demonstrated unpleasant truths like that his actions were leading to an increase in Nazi activity, rather than fix the problems being identified.

Once more, raising the Media Matters thing is better described as Musk having dug himself into a hole by acting extremely badly. That little poke by Media Matters would have done nothing if Musk hadn't been acting rather badly before it. When it happened, he reacted extremely badly.

That "and so on" includes a LOT of stuff that should be indefensible, either way.

For the ordinary observer, he is thoughtful and sincere, and an unlikely villain.

You're welcome to have your own opinion. That doesn't mean that your opinion looks like it is well rooted in reality.

My working assumption is that it’s NOT real. But significant that it’s become so difficult to discern parody from reality, especially concerning Musk.
