Given the deafening silence I assume that Mueller has a case for Obstruction - and they are trying to figure out what to do about it.
It could be that Mueller's declining to pursue indictments himself may be because he has passed on a shed-load of evidence to the head of the DoJ and Congress, because they are the legally correct bodies to deal with subsequent legal actions. He may see that it is not the Mueller investigation that needs to be responsible, like they were for sweeping up the rubbish, like Manafort, Cohen and Stone. He is indeed a straight arrow and an absolute stickler for correct protocol.

The silence from Donny might be his lawyers and the DoJ and even McConnell suddenly realising the supreme gravity of the situation they are in, for them particularly. They may be realising that if the Mueller evidence is made public, there will be the absolute expectation by the US public that they "do their jobs properly", which could be disastrous for Trump. Alternatively, they may be trying to find a way to get the many deadly snakes back in the tiny tin without being bitten themselves.

We shall see.

You're projecting, buddy. What I liked about your post is the one sentence that dripped out in pink. Makes it more in line with the immediate upthread posts and the general mood following this blow to tinfoil pussyhat-dom.

*pets you and moves on*

James O'Keefe? The idiot who makes those set-up, fake videos designed to create outrage against the "lefties"?

Yup. Given the general quality of the people that Trump seems to surround himself with, though, I'm not sure if it's par for the course or a step up.

Wipe that silly grin off your green face. You have nothing to be excited about.

Nothing has changed.

We knew all along that Mueller would eventually stop indicting people and hand in a report. We knew all along Mueller would not recommend a DOJ indictment of the president.

Exactly. It's really odd that the collusion deniers are interpretating the mere fact that the investigation is over as a victory, as if it was otherwise expected to never end.

ETA: If anything, it proves them wrong. They called it a rigged witch hunt by conflicted angry democrats, and yet, despite many being indicted and convicted, and several cooperations, Trump remains untouched. It's clear that they just want to score political points, not that they have any real conviction or principle.

Mueller has indicated, what was it, 16 Russians? Is that not enough for you? There is no doubt about Russian interference in the election.

Also, did we invade a country, overthrow it's government, and cause tens of thousands of casualties total, and I just missed it?

Seems clear to me that this generation's WMD is...still WMD. The middle east is still destabilized, and we're still technically at war, after all.
