As much as I sympathize with having a Trumper relative (even if only by marriage), do you think his weight (which you mentioned twice) really has anything to do with his liking Trump and his running his father's business into the ground?

Nope. Trump's weight likely has nothing to do with his incompetence either. I was deliberately drawing negative parallels.

Point taken, however. Mea culpa. Petty jabs are not helpful.

Actually they may be related.

Stuby mcbonespurs doesn't exercise because in his scientific ignorance he thinks people have a finite amount of energy and wants to preserve it. That probably contributes to his weight.

I would think if there were things in the report that showed laws were broken by a Trump organization during the election and especially if Trump were strongly implicated himself it would be in the public interest to know.

Of course.

But if there’s information that would compromise methods or human assets, or other investigations in progress, it should be redacted.

But the decisions as to what needs to be redacted should rest with the FBI and/ or the CIA as appropriate, not the President and his lawyers.

So why does Manafort keep lying:
After being convicted on eight counts of bank fraud and tax evasion brought by special counsel Robert Mueller, President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort accepted a plea agreement last September to avoid a second trial in which he agreed to cooperate in the Russia investigation.

But two months later, Mueller dropped a bombshell when he accused Manafort of breaching the agreement by lying to prosecutors.

He's already going to prison for what is likely to be most of the rest of his life. What incentive does he have to lie?

Tell the truth and cross the Russians? How short does he want the rest of his life to be?

Sad but probably true. Deripaska is "Putin's oligarch," and Manifort stiffed him for millions. Plus KK and Deripaska got to read all of the articles about ostrich jackets and Manifort's lifestyle and then his estate got confiscated by the feds instead of that money going back into Russia where it belonged. Probably better to be a "stand up guy" vs. a rat at this point, since he's stuck in jail either way.

A teaser before Christie's book release. I wonder what else is in that book.

This from the idiot that shut down a bridge to get even with a mayor:
The meeting was “dumb” and Kushner and Trump Jr.’s attendance was a “sign of profound inexperience,” Christie wrote.

And it's personal:
Christie attributes Kushner’s alleged acts against him as stemming from Christie’s days as a U.S. attorney in New Jersey in the early 2000s. Christie prosecuted Kushner’s father, billionaire real estate developer Charles Kushner, for tax evasion, illegal campaign donations and witness tampering, which led him to serve two years in federal prison.
Make of that what you will.

In an email today from Tom Steyer, Need to Impeach:
Meanwhile, Carl Bernstein, the famed political journalist who helped bring down Richard Nixon, has an inside source that says the Mueller report will show how Trump helped Russia “destabilize” the U.S.
