If this is correct, then it is not hard to understand the reason for this date. The House sits in the first week of January 2019, under Democrat majority and leadership.... Mueller obviously doesn't want his report buried.

There may be a few shoes to drop yet, but there doesn't seem like any prospect that the investigation will be over before next year.

Not just that, but there are plenty of people that Mueller hasn't even interviewed yet. He's not even interviewed Roger Stone, let alone people like Trump's family.

Mueller didn't work for Obama for 8 years ,he was Bush's FBI director. He stayed on for 2 years under President Obama while finding a replacement.

Plus, how does Trump know anything about the 'inner workings' of the investigation?

It strikes me that these claims mirror the recent articles about Trump, the White house disorganization, and his tantrumps.

He remained FBI Director under Obama for 4 years. His 10-year term was extended by a Senate vote of 100-0.
