The Constitution has kept our republic strong. The Democrats tried to steal a Supreme Court pick -- failed. The Clintons tried to steal the presidency -- failed. The Dumb Donkeys have repeatedly tried stealing the Senate by getting more votes -- failed.

Close enough to reality to be able to be mistaken for real.

Can't it be both?

Anything to get a Manchurian Muscovian candidate out of office.
FTFY
What? The prez cannot commit a crime while in office?! So he really could shoot someone in the middle of Times Square and you think he couldn't be prosecuted for murder? REALLY?
Please tell me exactly where in the Constitution it says the prez is "above the law". I'd like to see it.

Ridiculous.
To be fair, Trump has ALWAYS considered himself above the law. Anyhow, he wouldn't shoot someone in Times Square himself. He has people for that.

So this isn't about Russian interference at all in your view, it's to nail Trump for anything possible? Is that correct?

If by "anything possible" you mean "we should explore all evidence of wrong-doing, and there is a lot of evidence to explore", then yes.

Which is very different from the "keep calling for investigations until you turn something up", which has been the tactic of Republicans against their most powerful Democratic rivals for quite a few years now.

The Poe is strong with this one.

If he isn't actually involved in the Russian thing, then he's not a "Manchurian candidate", and you no longer have to worry about getting him out of office.

His words and actions after the Putin summit were by themselves sufficient to take the "Manchurian candidate" angle, IMO. And that was in plain sight and sound for all to see and hear.

...and literally, "in plain sight", asking the Russians to commit a crime on his behalf, so that he could benefit from it.

Steal a SCOTUS pick? How exactly did they try to steal it?

And how did the Clintons try to steal the presidency? Were federal election laws violated in this attempted burglary? (Or was it attempted robbery?)

I am glad the Consitution is keeping the Republic strong. President Trump and his unconstitutional ideas sure as heck are not keeping the Republic strong.
