Amazing how Trump says it's a total exoneration and yet the GOP members are trying to throw shade at Mueller.

I love how the GOP guy pressed Mueller on the "shall provide", and when the Democrats used it on Barr, in that case they argued the wording.

21/ It's *so* bizarre that the GOP is attacking Mueller for not making a conventional prosecutorial judgment on obstruction because look, folks, *if he had*, he would have recommended 10 indictments for obstruction and *everyone in America knows that*. So what's their game, here?

So it appears the game plan that was theorized for the Dems was accurate. Pound the Obstruction charges as much as possible, which isn't what I was hoping for. I wanted more questions about Trump tower, etc.

ETA: The Dems certainly appear to be treating Mueller with more respect than the GOP.

So far it seems that the Democrats are just asking Mueller to repeat or confirm stuff that's already in the report, essentially just making those things more publicly known. Meanwhile the Republicans are just attacking him and pontificating.

Not sure if it's going to turn out to be a good idea to bring him to testify.

Ooh. The Republicans just threw in there, and then moved on immediately, that the Steel Dossier was the "start of all this", when we know it wasn't. And also that the Trump Tower meeting produced nothing, which is irrelevant.

It's just a war of propaganda.

ETA: Did the Russian lawyer who met Trump's people in Trump tower really have ties to Fusion GPS?
