Mother Terisa gets there at last

Yes indeed side stepping.

I have been somewhat less strident than most in condemning the good lady, but find her response to the needs of the needy, given her availability of funds somewhat lacking.

I would like to see some response to this question.

You have seen literally hundreds of them

Well just one will do. I am all ears.

He's correct. There have been literally hundreds of posts confirming that the
money donated to her was very poorly spent on her missions. Most of it went to the Catholic Church, not her missions.

Well, I'm convinced! Teresa was a saint who worked tirelessly to alleviate her patients' suffering and used her donations specifically to treat and cure diseases. Amazing what a single apostrophe and a lowercase letter can accomplish!

True.

mostly true, she also used the donations to alleviate the sufferings of the dying, and feed and house the oppressed

I wonder if you could put a figure on what % of the donations received were put to this purpose, and what % when to the Vatican. This seems to be the thrust of what most here are concerned about the saintly one.

You seem concerned about it, surely you have the numbers.

The articles I posted showed that whatever sums were turned over went to catholic charities and hospitals, God bless you Saint Teresa!

You posted some vague stuff as I recall and received in response a barrage of counter claims that had far greater credibility to my, unprejudiced, eyes.:p

Well certainly, certainly, you have the numbers to back that up.

A skeptic certainly, certainly! is not relying upon the unsupported diatribes of polemicists like Chris Htchen.

Certainly.

As such, make with the evidence!

'K

Oh dear....

That is not how that is used.

Oddly, from following certain threads in this forum I've come to believe that it is often used instead of presenting an argument. Funny how I got that impression. Perhaps I should have posted "Wrong" or an emoticon instead? I am still trying to learn this stuff- it is not my natural style.

However I do trust your opinion as an expert in terms of its proper usage. In my context, I was indicating that "the numbers" and evidence in favor of Thor 2's post are already documented upthread, so: (1) What further evidence are you asking for? The evidence and numbers are already here in this very thread. (2) Therefore you disagree with the evidence, which is the point at which you usually post: 'K. Which I gather means- "we disagree, which is okay by me." Except it often appears to not be okay because you keep posting.

But realizing that you disagree with Thor 2 (and me) and that the evidence and numbers have not convinced you otherwise, I posted 'K as per my understanding of its use. Hey, I am only trying to learn from you!

I can assure you without fear of contradiction that "the numbers" you are referring to are not supported by what a skeptic would consider legitimate evidence and such has certainly not been presented in this thread.

Moreover, The evidence is that sums that were transferred were transferred to catholic hospitals and other health care charities.

Undisputed

But it is being disputed- right here. And although you may have no fear of contradiction, clearly there are people who are contradicting you.

If the "legitimate evidence" against the funds having been transferred to catholic hospitals and other health care charities was not presented in this thread, then where was the "legitimate evidence" presented that they were transferred to catholic hospitals and other health care charities (and that your position is correct)?

But please note- my response, that you do not accept the evidence against this idea, is correct, right? Then my use of 'K seems to fit very well with your own usage= "We disagree, OK?"

Gainsaying is not disputing. We have a claim (quoted above) that there were 100's of posts of evidence 'confirming that the
money donated to her was very poorly spent on her missions. Most of it went to the Catholic Church." I know that there was not.

There is no legitimate evidence in this thread or otherwise.

You got it? Post it.
