I haven't seen any thread dealing with Mossad conspiracies (if there is, I'm sorry). So I would like to start of and see what you guys and gals have to debunk/disprove (or support) two which seem fairly common


Mossad in Mexico
There is an article on Rense called "Mossad Agents Arrested
In Attempt To Bomb Mexican Congress"


Mossad framing Al Qaeda in Gaza
There is an artilce in the Executive Intelligence Review called "Mossad Exposed in Phony`Palestinian Al-Qaeda' Caper"

There is a grain of truth to all conspiracy theories, mixed with a healthy dose of convoluted logic.
 
This particular Mossad CT is a bunch of crap. What would the Israelis gain by bombing the Mexican congress?

What about the Gaza cell? Apparantly they had arrested several men who confess. One man said he was contacted by a Mossad agent. And they had "official documents" to show email, phone and bank records coming from Israel.:confused:

El guardia de seguridad Salvador Guersson Smecke, detenido hace dos días en el interior de la Cámara de Diputados junto con el supuesto ex militar israelí Sauar Ben Zvi, cuenta con una licencia para portar un arma calibre 9mm. expedida por la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SDN), con vigencia del 31 de diciembre de este año.

Se trata de una licencia "individual" tramitada ante la SDN a principios de este año y concedida por la dependencia hace unos meses. Fuentes de la Procuraduría General de la República señalaron que Salvador Guersson es el único de los dos detenidos que está debidamente registrado ante la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública.

"Pero de la otra persona, que no estaba armada, no tenemos datos claros y seguimos investigando", afirmaron.

You'll note that there is no mention of explosives and that it is stated that only one of the two was in possession of a weapon, contrary to the claims made in the Rense article.

So, do we have another example of conspiracist inflation of claims akin to the way that a post- 9/11 expression of concern for the safety of Israelis in New York City was blown up into "4000 Jews stayed home from the WTC on 9/11"?

I think it highly likely. If you spend a little time poking around the "Voz de Aztlan" site, the original source of the Rense piece, you will discover that Ernesto Cienfuegos is a spittle-flecked antiSemite and general hatefreak who thinks that gays should be disembowelled the old-fashioned Aztec way. This is not someone whose unsupported claims about one of his hate-objects should be taken without the entire output of a commercial salt mine.

CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE:

For the pointer to El Universal, Bill Weinberg's WW4 Report. Weinberg's article also points out that Guersson is a naturalized Mexican citizen. He cannot be characterized as any sort of "government loyalist", USA, Mexican, or Israeli, which IMO should add to the credibility of his take on this.

For my knowledge of Ernesto Cienfuegos' vile insanity: The (rhymes with "brass pole") who used to spam his screeds to Indymedia sites.

For the fact that a dictionary to help out with lost vocabulary made it possible for me to figure out what El Universal was saying: Mrs. Weinstein, my Spanish teacher back in high school.
 
If Mossad was this all powerful secret assassination organization, then why isn't Israel the number 1 superpower in the world?

It was a conspiracy of Islamic fanatics to fly planes into American buildings.
 
Yeah, the Mexican one does come across as silly.

But what about the other one? I don't think anyone has touched that so far. It is more believable at face value...but is it true?:confused:

What were the Israelis up to? We think we know. The Vicente Fox government has been very careful of involving Mexico in a war against Islam. The Mexican population as well as the two major opposition political parties, the PRI and the PRD will not allow it. Also the Bill Weinberg article states, "the tubes and wires in their suitcase were not bombs after all". So apparently the article DOES talk about explosives contrary to what you say. I can't read spanish so I can't confirm this.

If the "the tubes and wires in their suitcase were not bombs after all" then what were those tubes and wires?

Regardless of whether it was just one person that had a gun or not, one of them did have a gun and I would imagine that carrying that inside the mexican congress is illegal. It wouldn't matter any bit that the gun was legally registered to the person. It's still illegal to bring them inside congress.

Are there any later articles from El Universal available?

You still can't deny that these 2 Israelis were detained and for carrying a firearm. Again whether it was 1 person or both is not the point. That was the reason for their arrest.

You can't deny that 2 Israelis were arrested in Mexico's congress right? Can we start with this simple fact? What were these 2 Israelis doing in the Mexican Congress and why were they arrested?

I don't see how you can completely dismiss the Rense article.
