I like how some of the FLDS is coming out and saying that the actions of one man shouldn't tarnish the entire organization.
This is of course true. But there isn't just the actions of one man to go on. There are the actions of the community and organization (remember they are one and the same in FLDS) to vilify it with. Actions like forced marriages to underage girls, which the community enforced and hid. There were the complaints of abuse that the FLDS controlled police not only didn't investigate, but reported back to the accused. There are the men and boys forced out of on their own with no support or education. There are the young women kept ignorant and uneducated. The organization as a whole is through and through corrupt, harmful, and I'd say evil. Anyone supporting such an organization can rightly be vilified for their own actions, even without considering Jeffs.
