More useless information from Browne: Kristine Kupka

Just when I thought nobody could be as repugnant while giving a reading as SB, Rhea goes and tells this woman that her sister was strangled to death, and makes strangling sounds to drive the point home.

Can't Mark Klaas sue? Isn't it illegal to use someone's name in a commercial enterprise without their permission (or, in this case, the permission of their estate)?

As long as she wasn't including his name in ads or directly using his case to advertise herself, she's legally completely free to lie on national TV. To my understanding.

No doubt! That is exactly why Mr. Klaas was so very very upset over it!
I can not begin to even imagine his loss. Then his finding out what was done to her before her death and the monster that did it.
Then this human waste trying to make a quick buck off of it!
Wow! That poor man was getting hit from all sides!

There you go! Line all of them up on one site and start shooting them down. Like ducks in a row at a shooting gallery!

Church of life?

Having never heard of Rhea until reading this thread, I decided to do a quick Google.

Her site (based on the few moments I could tolerate), though as disgusting as I had anticipated, did however provide hilarity, however brief.

Among things she seemed quite proud, such as her intuitive counseling abilities, was the fact that Ms. Rhea is an ordained Minister in the Church of Life.

Now isn't that special? Anyone - and I do mean anyone - can be a minister by filling out a form on-line. (I will go back and find the address if anyone is interested.) Also available for only $139.00 is a "Minister in a Box." Apparentally it is helpful, though not required, for anyone wanting to perform a wedding or funeral with their new certificate as a Minister in the Church of Life.

As far as Robert beginning a StopRhea site, I feel like - I don't know - so many vultures, so little time?

I've been thinking about something lately.

I have no children so I can only imagine what people like Shawn Hornbeck's parents and Mark Klaas go through.

I, however, know how a psychic's "visions" can implant themselves in your mind.

Once in my life, I went to a palm reader and she told me alot of fluff but also some very serious stuff. Even though I was suspicious about parts of her reading and resented having to pay so much, I believed her and had to live with those ideas and images for a long time. It's hard to shake off from your mind, even after you find about cold-reading and confirmation bias. To this day, I want her to have been right. And I was lucky enough to have discovered skepticism otherwise I'd still half-believe I'd live to be 92.

So if I had those false ideas implanted in my mind and couldn't shake them off even after finding out how fake psychics are, think what parents of missing children who have to hear that their child is dead or being tortured, beaten, starved or molested feel. Enspecially being helpless to do anything about it.

Or someone who's been told with no basis that their child is still alive and will come home. Even years down the line, long after they intellectually know it was just a guess, they still must hold out hope it is true.

Eeney great post! I totally agree!
I was only joking about Mr. Lancaster starting a stop Rhea site.
The man has his hands full with the fine job he is doing with SB.
I should of not posted that it did not read like I was joking at all.
Sorry!

Thank you :) . I think that out of all the woowoos, the worst of the worst are quacks and psychic detectives. They make all the rest look honest by comparison.

I got that you were joking.
