Sloe,

Your image doesn’t show up.. perhaps try a link ?

I noticed the slight haze around the edges of Wildcats blowup.. btw nice unpixellated blowup it is too !

Looked typical of a paste in !
If you make a blowup in an advanced image handleing program, like Photo Shop, you can get non-pixellated blowups, but this is simply because the program will smothe out the pixels. It is important to realize that in a digital image, the pixel is the smallest unit of information that exists.

UFO question from the technologically challenged regarding the "classic UFO shape".

If UFO's exist and the little critters come from outside our solar system (which seems likely given that we have a reasonable idea of what comes and goes around here) then they must have ships that either travel bloody fast or can quantum leap (or whatever the technical term is). At these speeds (or jumps) and assuming the technological advances that these "things" must have made do aerodynamics actually matter?

If not, surely the saucer shape is a pretty inefficient use of space and they would be better off with a craft that minimised surface area relative to volume like a globe or a flying research laboratory housed in an office block.

Again, apologies for any basic stupidity here but I would be interested to get an "informed" person's view.

Who says they travel in these things? Nooo, they really are energy beings consisting of pure imploded crystal energy. They travel all over the universe in the blink of an eye.

The saucers are for holding the humans they trap for their sex experiments!

Ufoology

No, I didn't coin that word. Yes, I wish I had.

While we're joking around, posing doofus explanations for UFOs, the believers are avidly creating speculations at least as gaga -- and immediately accepting them, all of them, no matter how contradictory.

The whole UFO hobby has aspects of playfulness, idle adolescent noodling on ideas for their own sake. Nothing (much) wrong with that.

Trouble is, a lot of ufoologists are pushing 80 and still gullible, and gullibility makes people vulnerable.

It has always fascinated me that many ufoologists can step forward and tell us with a serious face what the aliens are thinking, why they are doing what they are doing, and so on. And apparently there are people believing them!

It must be completely clear to themselves - if they do not claim to have had "Close Encounters of the 3. Kind" - that they are just making the stuff up!

Michaellee, what is PSP? Is that the name of the filter?
PSP is Paint Shop Pro. The filter I used is one that changes the brightness levels of individual pixels...nothing else was used.
