From the Article:

Many of the victims wore multiple layers of clothing and carried small personal items like jewelry and medication. One child was found with a ball in his hand.

The women -- four or five of whom were pregnant -- and children appear to have been killed with a single small caliber gunshot to the head.

It is particularly greusome to me as a father that people can be so personal as to put a handgun to a woman clutching her child or a child's head and squeeze the trigger.

Don't you know Bush is the bad guy c0rbin? ;) In fact I just received the proof in my inbox just yesterday...

When President Clinton was in office,
I had a nice house, a good job, with
many benefits, health insurance and even
2 vacation homes. In short, things were good.

Since President Bush has been in office, I have lost
my job and my health insurance. I have also lost
two sons in Iraq.

To add insult to injury, I am now homeless and
have lost everything I once had.

I and we must be willing to do whatever John Kerry asks
us to do. We must remove President Bush and
get a Democrat back in the White House. Please
consider my compelling personal story and vote for
John Kerry come election day.

Sincerely,
Saddam Hussein

They suspect these people were killed in the late 80's.

WHO WAS PRESIDENT THEN????

In Iraq or in the US, tmy?

Why both of course.

Scuse me but I find the "Iraqi-freedom" justification to be nothing more than insencere bullflop. No one disputes that Saddam was killing kurds buy the bussloads back in the day. But am I too buy that NOW is the time that we actually care about it?? Over a decade later??

Ah, but back then we liked Iraq more than Iran. Not to mention that our friend Turkey also prefers dead Kurds to live ones, but we're supposed to tiptoe around that.

In another five years, we'll be all about fixing Darfur.

What's all this I hear about buying busloads of Kurds? And what's all this I hear about Tmy wanting to buy Kurds, himself? Doesn't he know he doesn't need to buy them by the busload? He can always go to the Safeway dairy aisle and buy all the cottage cheese he wants a little at a time. That way he'll be able to keep it in his refrigerator. Have you ever tried to buy a busload of Kurds? Where would you keep it? And another thing: Have you ever seen a busload of kurds? It reminds me of this great big booger I once...

"Scuse me but I find the "stopping the holocaust" justification to be nothing more than insincere bullflop. No one disputes that Hitler was killing jews and gypsies by the trainload back in the day. But am I to buy that late 1941 is the time that we actually care about it?? Years later??"

I'm not drawing a direct comparison, but isn't it possible to do the right thing, even if it is not undertaken immediately?

"insincere bullflop"? I don't think so.

"Late in coming"? Perhaps...

Saddam made the Kurds go a-whey.

Did you catch this story over at CNN? F-up things happen all over, but the outrage depends on if its done by our buddies or enemies.

Gaza schoolgirl dies of injuries

The Israeli army has suspended a platoon commander accused of shooting a wounded Palestinian girl at close range in Rafah in southern Gaza last week.

Two versions of events have been given about the incident - one by the military and another by soldiers manning the outpost.

The soldiers complained that after the first shots were fired at the girl, the company commander approached her motionless body, fired two shots to her head, and then sprayed her with automatic fire. The commander denied some of the accusations.

Palestinian medics said Iman's body was recovered with 20 bullet wounds in the head and chest.

Um, didn't the US get involved in WWII because countries started invading each other, and not because of the Holocaust?

Whta holocaust were we stopping? It already happened. The Kurds have been under our protection for years before W's invasion. Its like invading Cambodia in 1988 in order to stop what the Kehmer Rouge did in the 70's. Pat yourself in the back if you want, but you didnt do ◊◊◊◊.

My analogy is better than I first thought.

You're making my case for me... :)

It was ongoing. Saddam continued to oppress, imprison, and kill minorities and political enemies right up to the invasion.

P.S. You don't want to compare national service with me, do you?

I'm really a 527 acting on your behalf. Incidentally, you're in trouble with the campaign finance laws now because of a few commercials I made on your behalf without your knowledge...whoopsies!

That's right... anyone who thinks Saddam's attrocities were all in the past should do a search on Marsh Arabs.

But McCain has a +40 Spear of Spearing...and a wicked temper.

A Spear of Spearing?!? Is that similar to a Dagger of Daggering?

And +40?!? Who the hell is McCain's DM??
