More woo from Christine O’Donnell

evolution is a theory and it's exactly that. There is not enough evidence, consistent evidence to make it as fact, and I say that because for theory to become a fact, it needs to consistently have the same results after it goes through a series of tests. The tests that they put — that they use to support evolution do not have consistent results. Now too many people are blindly accepting evolution as fact. But when you get down to the hard evidence, it's merely a theory.

And Miss O’Donnell, is there any evidence for creation?

Well, creationism, in essence, is believing that the world began as the Bible in Genesis says, that God created the Earth in six days, six 24-hour periods. And there is just as much, if not more, evidence supporting that.

You go Girl!

Turn the “Great State of Delaware” into the “Somewhat Adequate State of Delaware.”

More youthful zeal I suppose?
O'Donnell said:
I was in my 20s and very excited and passionate about my newfound faith. But I can assure you, my faith has matured. And when I go to Washington D.C., it will be the Constitution on which I base all of my decisions, not my personal beliefs.

This lady is truly a treasure trove. On top of everything else, she's a serial liar. For instance, she repeatedly makes false claims about her education.

When running for the senate in 2006, she lied about having a degree.

And when she sued her employer in 2005 for wrongful termination ("Miss O'Donnell suffered enormous pain, cried frequently at the sense of personal loss and failure caused by ISI, and at the sense of injustice, and could not sleep at night, often wide-awake, replaying the whole scene in her mind, until 5:30 am") she lied about having earned a master's at Princeton. complaint

If control of the Senate was not at stake, if I was a Dem I might hope the O Connell actually wins, since she would prove to be a constant and steady source of embarassment for the GOP,and the damage done to the GOP would far outweigh the loss of a vote in the Senate.

That's what Michele Backman is for.

She only lies when it is righteous in the eyes of God

CHRISTINE O’DONNELL: A lie, whether it be a lie or an exaggeration, is disrespect to whoever you’re exaggerating or lying to, because it’s not respecting reality.

BILL MAHER: Quite the opposite, it can be respect.

EDDIE IZZARD: What if someone comes to you in the middle of the Second World War and says, ‘do you have any Jewish people in your house?’ and you do have them. That would be a lie. That would be disrespectful to Hitler.

CHRISTINE O’DONNELL: I believe if I were in that situation, God would provide a way to do the right thing righteously. I believe that!

People shouldn't be shocked by the O'Donnell result. The base of Republican party and the Tea Party, which she represents quite well, are one in the same. As a liberal, I'm not thinking the Tea Party results will hurt the Republican party in November. Republicans are much at better at playing well together then Democrats.

If they can keep up the enthusiasm Democrats are in for a rough election.

Who's Snookie? I hear that name a lot! Who is he/she?

Snooki, Snooki, Snooki.

Snooki is a cross between a goblin and another goblin. She is about three and a half feet of puffy-cheeked goblin. Her first night in the house, she stripped down to her underwear, hopped into the jacuzzi and played "Pass the Goblin" with every guy in the house. Since then, she's moped around by herself, shrieking like a goblin that no one "gets her" and if they really got to know her, they'd realize she wasn't a miserable, shrieking goblin. She complains to her dad on the phone, saying that everyone in the house thinks she's the kind of girl who gets drunk and decides to become the cracker in a bowl of dude soup. (You can see how they'd get that impression.) She's unhappy because she's used to being liked, which doesn't sound at all possible in any realm, Middle Earth or otherwise.

Everyone in the house promises that they like her and are excited about living with her, a claim that is underscored slightly by the fact that they all refuse to learn her name or spend any time with her. In a house full of society's rejects, Snooki is Unclean.

Outstanding Moment:

She was late to her first day of work because she was puking alone in the bathroom.Bonus Outstanding Moment: On night two, her night of redemption, she brought home a guy so they could watch the sunrise together, and he celebrated by throwing up and passing out.

So all Republicans are right wing bigoted idiots, right?
I really think you are forgetting that a large portion of the voting public are neither devoted Liberals or devoted Conservatives, and the Tea Party extremism will turn them off.
Yes, the Tea Party will win in "Safe " GOP districts, but I would not be surprised if they do poorly in more competive districts. Please remeber that not all GOP Candidates are Tea Party members.
I have noted that a lot of ideologues on both sides simply cannot understand people who are NOT ideologues. They can grasp militants with a different ideology but not someone who does not have a strong ideological bent.

Seems spot on. Are you sure the current 'throw the bums out' craze won't keep many Dems and middle-roaders from casting any vote? If so even the O'Donnell's may have some chance. I suggest tea party supporters (and voters) will be turning out in droves.

I do agree the chance of a Dem not winning statewide in DE is slim.

I think that some of the extremism that the Tea Party is displaying might make some "Throw the Bums out" voters think twice.
It might also get some Liberal voters who are disillusioned with Obama for not being Liberal enough out to the polls.

Not too many more days and we'll have an answer, and another answer in 2012.

Although I'm beginning to think Obama will not run for re-election.
