Moonbat alert: Chomksy condemns Bin Laden kill.

And you have just proven that your hatred of the USA has made you completely irrational.

how so?
there are many beautiful, tropical paradise-like places in pakistan and india.
with my pension, i cold live like a king there, if that were my goal.
fresh fruit, fish, goat and lamb to live on, ready access to excellent hashish and opium, man....what's not to like?

You make it sound like it is better than Canada, which I also think is stupid. If you disagree, move there. Something tells me you won't.

Don't go mouthing off about religion and politics in Pakistan. They don't like infidels there. They like infidels that worship trees even less.

i make it a strong point to never discuss politics or religion when i travel.
it is wise practise.
beside, when one travels, there are many things to discuss that are more interesting.
food, culture, art, drama, dance, food, food...the things a true traveller travels for.

i don't like hot climates.
i live a simple, comfortable life here.
i have no desire to 'live like a king'.
besides, there is no moose meat in india. i like my moose steak.

You could surely live a simple life in Pakistan more cheaply than you can in Canada, yes? Then your only objection is climate. Surely your comfort is less important than all the lives you can save by giving up the portion of your pension you don't need since you're living in a cheap place like Pakistan?

The US is better than Pakistan in every conceivable way. US citizens are more free, politically, socially, and economically. There is no rational reason that anybody would choose to live in Pakistan over the USA. This isn't to say that the USA is the best country in the world, and anybody who wouldn't choose to live in it is irrational. There are many countries that one could rationally prefer to live in over the USA. Pakistan is not one of those countries. So, your preference of Pakistan over the USA is irrational. Probably motivated by hatred of the USA.

"Every conceivable way"? You go on to list 3 ways (or one, with 3 sub-categories). I understand that you like the USA. Being blind to the negative sides of the US is irrational, being blind to the positives of Pakistan is irrational. Not making the same choices, or having the same preferences and priorities, is not irrational. Boldly claiming you know my motivations (later amended to 'probably', better amended to 'possibly', but actually best amended to 'not') is not rational either.

Popping you on ignore now luvvie, OK?

Traveling somewhere an living there are to different things. My dad visits Thailand at least four times a year for official business. In Thailand, you can go to prison for speaking against the King. If you're just going there for a couple weeks, it isn't so bad. But if you have to live with it forever, yeah it is stupid. I won't go to prison for calling the President a moron.

Yeah in every concievable way. I fully recognize that the USA is not perfect. But its faults are sill better than Pakistans'. In every way. Unless maybe you're an Islamist. In which case, you are irrational.

This is breathtaking in its arrogance and stupidity.

Not really. Pakistan is run by a corrupt, incompetent quasi-dictatorship that has a significant segment that supports Islamic totalitarianism.

I'd prefer almost anything to that.

..the u.s. is run by a corporate controlled pseudo-democratic regime that has a significant segment that supports christian totalitarianism.
your point?

My point is a simple one. You can march down the street in America waving a communist flag and claiming Bush was behind 9/11 and nothing will happen to you.

People who mouth off in Pakistan get either prison or the Islamic lynch mob.

As I said, they don't like druids who worship trees there. So for you, the choice would be being alive or dead.

Jamie Glazov: Why The Left Cried When Osama Died.

The death of Osama bin Laden has driven a stake into the heart of the Left, causing progressives to bleed and moan as their unholy alliance with radical Islam absorbs the devastating May 2 blow.
The radical Islamic half of the romance is in agony as it sheds bitter tears for the mass murderer. Indeed, Hamas, Hezbollah, the armed wing of Fatah, and tens of thousands of radical Muslims around the world have prominently displayed their sorrow and anger for the world to see.
The alliance’s leftist half is, meanwhile, also deeply grieving. The guru of the leftist political faith, Noam Chomsky, is responsibly leading the way. Having distinguished himself, among other intriguing ways, as a Jew who has traveled to Lebanon to embrace personally the leaders of Hezbollah, whose stated top priority is to rid the world of Jews, the M.I.T. professor emeritus has not disappointed the faithful, progressive flock. Furiously responding to the assassination of the Left’s idol, Chomsky fumed in his recent article: “We might ask ourselves how we would be reacting if Iraqi commandos landed at George W. Bush’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic.”
The al-Qaeda leader’s killing is an outrage, in Chomsky’s mind, because Bush’s “crimes vastly exceed bin Laden’s.” Chomsky is outraged not only that the operation was clearly “a planned assassination, multiply violating elementary norms of international law,” but also that its victim had never been legally proven to be the perpetrator of 9/11. Undoubtedly, Chomsky’s Gulag Denial mindset continues unabated, for having shamelessly attempted to deny the Khmer Rouge’s Holocaust in Cambodia was clearly not enough to satiate Chomsky’s totalitarian odyssey.

Rest is here: http://frontpagemag.com/2011/05/12/why-the-left-cried-when-osama-died/

And all opinions are equal, of course. Immature ignorant internet tough guy opinion=venerable respected Nuremburg prosecutor opinion.

So? There's his opinion. One old geezer. In this thread full of opinions, is that the first time you've posted something no more substantial than "Well, that's your opinion. So?" Why hold back? You can insult him if you like, I don't suppose he's a member.

 Me thinks you need a break. You seem personally too invested in this. It is unhealthy.

We know. Full of brown people who are muslims. You do not even have to post it. We can see your cool avatar.
