Monday's 9/11 Rally Point

My sincerest gratitude goes out to you, and in remembering that terrible day, its victims and its repercussions, I gain hope from your efforts to stifle the execrable, selfish, insane, deluded profiteering that has ensued from the deniers.

I read this post and my heart sank. It's easy to forget, whilst embroiled in this battle for rationality, that real people died on this very real day. Ordinary everyday people going about their ordinary everyday lives. People like you, me, and even Dylan Avery. I wonder what his take on this would be if one of his family or friends had perished is this horrible attack.

This makes me even more angry at the CTists. But they are irrelevant pieces of so-and-so.

May the victims of that horrible day rest in peace.

EDIT: *embroiled* NOT *embroided*. I am a schmuck.

Can I just make one small request? Don't turn it into a "I can shout louder" contest with the morons. Its not going to help anyone and the families of the victims don't need that.

Other than that, good luck. I'd be there too, but my commute is actually an hour and a half out of the City.

Sure hope I don't have to read about a brawl in the News on Tuesday.

You could always take a boxcutter and offer to slash at truthers while they demonstrate how laughably easy it is to disarm you. I've been wanting to do that for a while.

Hey! That's an awful thing to....

...okay, I need a cheap flight from St. Louis to New York and I need it tonight. Are there any hardware stores near Ground Zero?

Yup - Park Row - just across Broadway.

I will be there, but wearing the credentials of one of the big 3 alphabet networks. I'll be working, and wearing my ninja outfit, complete with a press pass, issued by the NYPD, so I guess that makes me a shill too!

And of course you'll work your ninja-fu to get us an interview, right? Don't make me have to streak for attention.

Bush to visit Ground Zero on Eve of 9/11.

Here's the President's schedule as provided on Friday in the White House press briefing:

He will depart Sunday afternoon for New York. There will be a wreath-laying, commemorating the 5th anniversary of September 11, 2001, at Ground Zero on Sunday evening, and a service of prayer and remembrance at St. Paul's Chapel in New York. On Monday, breakfast with New York City first responders at a firehouse; also a moment of silence and a ceremony with New York City first responders in commemoration of September 11, 2001.

I'll try, but I goes where I'se told, I guess that makes me a sheeple too.

Yikes! Don't streak, I've seen the size of your shoes!

(Gravy won't blow over in a windstorm!)

The proper decorum will be observed at all times. I'll be wearing my formal tutu.

Yes and yes.

I completely agree with you here. Our plan is not to engage them at all.

But to wear tutus apparantly. Dang, 'cause mine's at the cleaners.

FYI - The truthers are at GZ now. (1pm - Sunday) I'll go get some pics and scout it out.

As much as I am sure we need the humor of seeing you in a tutu on ABC or CNN, I am not sure it will lend you much credibility. :)

Good luck though

You've never seen that guy? He makes it on the news a lot. All the UK stadium security people know him, so he sometimes has to dress in elaborate disguises.

That must be awful to have the same name as this guy... What a bummer (no pun intended :D ).
