Anyone have any ideas on where would be a good place to meet up for anniversary? There's a bunch of construction going on down there and I really have no idea where the authorities are going to be putting the conspiracy crowd.

I don't think there's going to be that many of us, so I was thinking some Starbucks or something in the area to just get organized before we head over.

And yeah, I know it's a Monday, but if any JREFer here in the city can go in late to work or take an early lunch (or call in sick like me), your presence would be greatly appreciated.

Perfect spot. Everyone knows Starbucks is part of teh ebil gubmint NWO illuminati empire. You've seen Austin Powers, right?

Aren't people in New York supposed to meet at the Empire State Building or something?
Meeting in Starbucks sounds like meeting in Parramatta. Not exotic at all.

some Starbucks or something in the area.

Seems like there are zillion starbucks, one on almost every block.

It might be better to pick something with fewer or just one location in the area, to avoid any possible confusion.

On Broadway, across from City Hall Park, is "Oliva Gourmet" which is a good casual place to get coffee and a bite to eat (if anyone's hungry), with seating available in the back.

This may be outside the security perimeter. (might be okay anyway?)

Other suggestions?

Yes. By all means, meet at the Empire State Building's Central Park entrance just on the other side of City Hall. Maybe you can meet at the Statue of Liberty up by 42nd Street. Then take the Brooklyn Bridge right over to Yankee Stadium.

I was also kinda thinking Liberty Park, maybe near those tall orange beams that pass as "art". Maybe the red cube at 140 B'way.

At the Guggenheim! Then stop at Rays Famous Pizza then a ride through Central Park in one of those carriages...

I like that idea.

Killed me.

I would *love* to be there, especially after viewing those cute little CT ragamuffin's comments regarding Abby's video.

I'm sure I could wangle a "diplomatic immunity" plea after melding some of the more obnoxious Troothers with the sidewalk.

Unfortunately, my Sturgis club chapter won't be able to make it. That would have been way cool. Everybody knows that you don't p*ss off a biker gang.

Excellent. That was my thought also.

Meet under this sculpture in Liberty Park at 8 a.m. on 9/11, where instructions from Planet X will be beamed to you.

Light-colored clothing is preferred. The deniers will be in black. Bonus points if you're riding a white horse, especially if it's from Michael Brown's stable.

By subway: Many lines have stops near the WTC.
1 to Rector St.
2,3 to Park Place
E to WTC
A, C to Chambers St.
R, W to Rector St. (Cortlandt Street station is closed)
4,5,6 to Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall

Here's the schedule of denier events. http://www.ny911truth.org/events/5th_anniversary.htm

It's been awhile since I've had instructions beamed to me.... Is there special headgear that's required in order to make sure they're received properly?

just a note, the R,W cortland street station is closed till 2007. if you take the R or W get off at rector street.

If I was 10 years younger, I'd say F&*k it, and i'd be there. Now, at age 35, and living 2000 miles from NYC, I really can't do it. My thoughts are with all that do go, however...

I'll have my tin-foil tuning meter, and extra knobs.

Oops, thanks. I only take that line, uh, several times a week. I'll edit the post.

Excellent.

After reading what some of the truthers would like to do to us, I will be wearing this:

Liberty Park at 8 a.m.

Sounds good. Will definitely be there.

Please let me know if you need help preparing any literature or anything, make extra copies of your materials, or whatever.
