I suppose they should get an apology as soon as they stop insulting the belief of Christians by saying Jesus is only a prophet and not the Son of God.

Right. And IMHO they have no reason to apologize.

Again IMHO, if a Muslim makes a representation of Mohamed, then Muslims have a right to be upset.

If someone that doesn't believe their silly religion does it, so what? If they truly want to integrate with civilized people, they need to learn that civilized people believe they should be free to make any art they feel like.

Today they get upset because non-Muslims print his image.

When do you think they will start getting upset because we don't worship him?

They need to understand that just because THEY don't believe in using his image, doesn't mean the rest of us have to go along.

They really need to get over it (IMHO).

They already are upset we don't worship him. A whole bunch of Muslims have already dedicated themselves to something you just might have heard of, jihad.
 
I got around this in my comic book by making Muhammad invisible (and an attention whore).
 
Well I can see two sides to this. On the one hand I can't see why Sweden "regrets" this if it's a private newspaper. I mean, I would assume they have some sort of freedom of speech or press protection in Sweden. If not by law, then at least by president. Which means that the government and the whole damn country is not really involved.



On the other hand, I can see how it is very offensive. Dogs are such good natured animals that I have a real soft spot for. To somehow assert that that bastard who founded one of the filthiest religions on earth - one that makes Christianity seem decent - and that's a big accomplishment, was a dog is an insult to dogs everywhere. I mean, here we have dogs who protect police officers, lead the blind and provide companionship to humans and we equate them to something as vial as Islam and it's founder?

That's just insulting... to the dogs that is.
