Mitch McConnell's Battery Ran Out

His last moments are going to look like the Emperor's death scene in The Dark Crystal.

I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV, but I saw my mother have two trans-ischemic attacks (mini-stroke) and she also temporarily froze like that. She recovered fully within 10-15 minutes.

Newyorkguy, he used to say:
You can't make this stuff up.

Speculation is possibly McConnell had a stroke. On live TV.
The term “stroke” was trending on the social media app formerly known as Twitter in the immediate aftermath of Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell appearing to be unwell as he attempted to speak during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon. Viral video footage shared on social media showed the 81-year-old U.S. Senator from Kentucky’s speech devolve into mumbles before he just froze up, staring blankly and silently straight ahead. For me the most bizarre part was, the staffers got McConnell off to the side and then one of them completed reading his statement. As though nothing had happened. :eye-poppi

Ditto.

My mum did exactly that a few days before she had the stroke that sent her into an epileptic fit. She was talking to us and just stopped mid-sentence for about 15 seconds.

My grandmother had one, too, and fully recovered within several minutes. Neither my mom nor grandmother went on to have a major stroke and lived to 88 and 97 respectively.

He looks ready to set out for the great Galapagos Islands in the sky. Of course he's looked like that for about fifty years so who can say? If I were his handler I'd crank up the heat lamp in his tank and maybe stop ordering turtle food in bulk.

His battery didn't run out, someone forget to wind him this morning. That's why he wasn't gone long.

And if McConnell were to die in the near future, the that POS Trump would quickly say something hateful about McConnell while simultaneously saying very stupid about himself.

NPR reports:
Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., the third ranking Republican and a physician, walked with McConnell for a few steps near the Senate floor as other leaders resumed the press conference. McConnell returned a few moments later. Asked about the episode and whether it was related to his health issues after a fall earlier this year when he suffered a concussion, he said, "I'm fine," and told reporters he was able to do his job.

McConnell later said that President Biden, a former Senate colleague of the minority leader, called him to ask how he's doing. "I told him I got sand-bagged," McConnell quipped, in apparent reference to Biden's fall at the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation where he tripped on a sand bag. In response to a question about how he's feeling now McConnell said, "I'm fine." NPR news link
