Michelle Bachmann could be our next president.

I think they are going to start by cutting all payments to the military, which should put all aging hippies into a state of extreme joy.
I resemble that remark.

The cuts to DoD should be made by not paying defense contractors and reviewing what payments made should bre clawed back.

I would start with everythging KBR got paid in Iraq. Unacceptable job they did of that.

Bachmann introduced a bill today called "Pay the troops first before everybody else" She must be reading my posts hmmm. Sounds alot like North Korea. Maybe I will be moving there after all.

Am I the only one wondering if Bachmann's husband is one of those anti-gay gay guys?

If it is true, then I pity him. It is bad enough to be gay while raised in one of those strict fundamentalist traditions, so I can see where the appeal of the 'solution' he offers lies. However, to compound that misery by condemning yourself to a life with Michelle **shudders**

Here, Bachmann tries out a Yiddish word, a word that one must assume she has read but never heard.

Numnutz.

Bachmann: 'If We Reject Israel, Then There Is A Curse That Comes Into Play'

"I am convinced in my heart and in my mind that if the United States fails to stand with Israel, that is the end of the United States . . . [W]e have to show that we are inextricably entwined, that as a nation we have been blessed because of our relationship with Israel, and if we reject Israel, then there is a curse that comes into play. And my husband and I are both Christians, and we believe very strongly the verse from Genesis [Genesis 12:3], we believe very strongly that nations also receive blessings as they bless Israel. It is a strong and beautiful principle."

This is straight out of World Nut Daily loony land. WND publisher Joseph Farah blamed the recent spate of tornadoes on Obama's speech calling for a two-state solution in Israel.

Once again, we've seen the U.S. hit with a series of deadly superstorms following Barack Obama's pledge to return Israel to pre-1967 borders.

Just days after Obama insisted Israel must give up lands it won through military victory with its enemies, some 200 people were killed by a tornado in Joplin, Mo.

There's a pattern here.

We saw it in Katrina, when George Bush forced Israel's withdrawal from Gaza. In fact, as everyone from Israeli rabbis to U.S. senators have noted, it seems to happen every single time the U.S. pressures Israel to divide the land.

Bachmann basically sees the world from the same perspective as Joseph Farah. That's scary.

You mean she might not want me to vote for her because I am gay? Good thing that Ron Paul has decided not to run again for the senate to focus his full time on the presidential race. Otherwise I would be confused.
You know, of course, that if she doesn't win the election (or the nomination) she is going to blame you. Can you live with yourself if that happens?
