Yes, pay no attention to the misappropriation of a political campaign warchest from the party of "fiscal responsibility" AND "Christian values." It might make Republicans look even more pathetic and evil than than they do now.

My first reaction was that the media should back off and leave their private lives alone. Then I read the story. This really was campaign funds used for a $2,000 meal and drinks business? And then throw in the trashy sex part just for fun?


Amazing. I think Erik Brown is toast, and whoever signed the expense report, and Michael Steele will be placed under a microscope to see if this is part of a pattern.


I've grown somewhat more cynical as I've grown older, and I started out fairly cynical to begin with. I have begun to think that the vast majority of political expenditures are nothing more than outright bribes, with a thin veneer of legality thrown in just for show.
