Michael Shermer's new website

Very cool. I look forward to meeting him tomorrow for the first time. I hear he's nervous about meeting me but as long as he doesn't look me in the eyes he'll be fine.

Can't wait to read the new book.

Agreed. Shermer strikes me as having the same illness I have, namely the inability to have a photo taken without looking goofy, especially if smiling or laughing in that photo.
 
I am also on his mailing list, and saw this today. I'm glad he has his earlier Scientific American articles online.

And since I'm someone who rarely has a picture of himself that doesn't look bad, I think his picture is fine. :)
 
Pictures of me tend to look like, well... me. So I'm in no position to criticize.

It just struck me as an odd choice for, in effect, his logo.
