According to TMZ, Michael Jackson and the number "7" will "blow your mind":

-- Michael Jackson signed his will on 7/7/02.
-- Michael Jackson's memorial was on 7/7/09 ... exactly 7 years after the will was signed.
-- Michael Jackson's two biggest hits -- "Black & White" and "Billie Jean" -- were each #1 for 7 weeks.
-- Michael Jackson's three biggest albums -- "Thriller," "Bad" and "Dangerous" -- each produced 7 top 40 hits.
-- Michael Jackson was the 7th of 9 children.
-- Michael Jackson was born in 1958 ... 19 + 58 = 77
-- Michael Jackson died on the 25th ... 2 + 5 = 7
-- Michael Jackson has 7 letters in his first and last name.

This is a quite selective list. For example, "Michael Jackson was the 7th of 9 children" is only partly true. The Jackson family history shows Michael had a brother Brandon Jackson (born March 12, 1957) who died at birth. If you count Brandon, Michael would be the eighth child in the family. Whereas, Michael Jackson's middle name is Joseph (6 letters), which is likely why it was omitted.

This much in line with Uri Geller's 11-11 "effect", which Claus talked about. Or similiar claims by Richard Hoagland on a 9/11 conspiracy a few years back.

I would only consider this remarkable if, by comparison, the majority of other platinum albums didn't contain at least 7 top 40 hits.

Seems that every single point contains numbers that aren't 7, except for the one about him being the 7th child which is just plain wrong. Numerology is silly enough, but there's really no excuse for bad numerology.

Seem strange to stop there. Genuine numerology requires that you resolve to the ultimate...

77 = 7 + 7 = 14

14 = 1 + 4 = 5

Oh, now I see why they stopped where they did.

Clearly 5 is the number we should be investigating.
