He said he is resigning from the Ferguson PD if he is not indicted. If he is indicted he is not resigning.

That's what Wilson said.
 
FERGUSON, Mo. -- A white police officer will not face charges for fatally shooting an unarmed black teenager in a case that set off violent protests and racial unrest throughout the nation, an attorney close to the case said Monday night.

A St. Louis County grand jury declined to indict officer Darren Wilson, 28, for firing six shots in an August confrontation that killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, said Benjamin Crump, an attorney for the family. The decision had been long awaited and followed rioting that resembled war-zone news footage in this predominantly black suburb of St. Louis.

"The jury was not inclined to indict on any charges,'' Crump said after being informed of the decision by authorities. Prosecutors scheduled an news conference to announce the decision.

Skeptics would want to hear all of the evidence first. Knee-jerk reactionary woos will base their feelings on any sliver of evidence that supports their pre-conceived notions.

This was pointed out from the beginning of the case - true skeptics, like myself and many others, suggested evaluating ALL the evidence, not just the evidence presented on Oprah. Of course, the true believers insisted that anyone who questioned Oprah were racist or had an agenda. Lessons should be learned, but won't be.
 
For those wondering, the vote is secret. Having served on a St Louis County grand jury, the vote is not recorded nor does the prosecution ask. We simple report a true/no true bill.

Of course, I suspect it will come out eventually, as jury members tell their friends.

Aint that the truth and it seemed some of the people gathered there were pre-disposed to violent acts no matter what the verdict became
 
Apparently what counts as protests these days is yelling "**** you" at the police and accusing all of them of being racists.

12 impartial citizens evaluated ALL the evidence, not just the evidence that was "presented" to Judge Oprah. That, by definition, is justice. Whether or not you personally see the evidence is irrelevant.
 
Wow, some idiotic questions from the press. "There are no laws in the State of Missouri to protect this young man". WTF? Sir, are you really that stupid?
