...and only Brown supporters would do that because...?

To repeat myself, because a no bill would essentially be a not guilty verdict. Why would pro-Wilson supporters burn down anything over an indictment? That's not a conviction. I'm sure they're aware that Zimmerman was acquitted at trial.

Because everyone expects the grand jury to let Wilson walk? Why wouldn't people already know how they feel about that prospect?

More importantly, they've already said that they'd protest regardless. The mood would be different, certainly, but at this point, although they're centered around the killing of Brown, they're also discussing the general nature of policing in the area.

Any court or jury ruling without transparent justification would be horrible. Why is that ever allowed?

From Wiki:

The case for such secrecy was unanimously upheld by the Burger Court in Douglas Oil Co. of Cal. v. Petrol Stops Northwest, 441 US 211 (1979).[15][16] The dissenting opinion was joined by Justices Burger and Stewart but concurred with the Court's opinion as to the importance and rationale of grand jury secrecy. Writing for the Court, Justice Powell found that "if preindictment proceedings were made public, many prospective witnesses would be hesitant to come forward voluntarily"; "witnesses who appeared before the grand jury would be less likely to testify fully and frankly"; and "there also would be the risk that those about to be indicted would flee, or would try to influence individual grand jurors". Further, "persons who are accused but exonerated by the grand jury [should] not be held up to public ridicule".[15]

If Wilson is indicted there could be mayhem, rioting, looting, fires, etc. by Brown supporters as a show of joy and triumph. We see this done by fans when sports teams win championships and it isn't a race thing. All colors are capable of mayhem when something really big goes in their favor and they are in a large group.

It could be dangerous no matter what the outcome as you have people becoming violent and destructive out of both joy and anger. Are you looting that store because you are happy or because you are angry? The answer could be either one.

So, IIRC, Wilson has a few hundred thousand dollars in crowdfunding. He certainly has had attorneys, and probably not free, but I find it hard to imagine they provided hundreds of thousand of dollars worth of legal advice... I wonder what happens to all that money if (when) they return no true bill...

Maybe he'll use some of it to relocate to a new location. He's quitting the force in Ferguson, as it's been stated.
