- I understand your concern.
- But I do have at least three hopeful considerations. 1) We humans can't expect to really understand the edges of reality. An analogy might be a chimp trying to understanding calculus. 2) I don't know what to think about there being some ultimate purpose in life -- but so far, I do expect that there to be ultimate meaning (which should be just as good...). I think that ultimate meaning has to do with "love." 3) It seems like reincarnation minus memory could be a good thing.
- But, I certainly see your point if there is no real meaning to life...
- Did my DVD analogy make sense to you?
1. So when will you ask that this thread be moved to Religion and Philosophy? I am serious about this. Does any of this have to do with Science, Mathematics, Medicine, and Technology?
2. If we humans can't expect to really understand the edges of reality (whatever you intend to mean here) how, in your OP, do you promise to use human knowledge of math to prove things at or beyond "the edges of reality? As I asked before, and you never responded, if the idea is to prove magic exists, I don't see how you can do that using math, which comes from our non-magical view of the universe. Once you "prove" magic exists, it would invalidate your very method of proof.
3. Did you read where I and other people pointed out that your analogy to a DVD was fatally flawed? If we are wrong, please explain why. Do you care at all when people point out your errors, or will you just ignore them?
