Several times Petraeus was interrupted by these protestors and they had to be escorted out. At least one was charged (according to Headline News; this is not in the article itself) with assaulting a police officer.

Don't the protesters realise this kind of behavior really turns people off and backfires on them??
If they want to publically disagree and protest Petraeus,fine; but grant him the right to make his statement.
Sadly,Cindy Sheehan has become a joke.I cut her a lot of slack because a lot of her behavior is caused by grief,but I am afraid she now sees herself as some kind of a leader of a revolutionary movment.her behavior is getting more and more extreme each day. Already a great deal of the Antiwar movment has more or less washed their hands of her.
 
Police brutality = Putting on the handcuffs a bit too tight.

My god AJ, I hope you got the officers badge number. As you said, he was "completely out of control". I'm looking forward to seeing a full hour segment on this in "Police State 27".
 
And yet it still hasn't dawned that if the US really was a Police State, they'd just have rounded them all up and shot them, like happens in China, North Korea, or Iran.
