The definition is silent on mutability. That is sufficient for me to conclude it is not an essential aspect.

You know it when you see it but lack any accountability in explaining it? Isn't that convenient.

Further, I don't think the question is if they love each other now.
 
Who cares if they love each other or not; what difference does it make? How many marriages are based on something other than "true love?" Given that around half of all marriages end in divorce, I would say very few have "true love" at their core.

Did JFK and Jackie love each other? Do Bill and Hillary? Does it make one whit of difference to anything whatsoever? Sure, maybe it creates a fun story for people to gossip about, but what does it Really Mean?

In any case, the OP is wrong; Melania is indeed moving to the White House.
 
I side with reknowned relationship expect Coach Cherri Wolf on the subject: "Marriage is a sham for fools." Which makes Trump thrice a fool for repeating the mistake.

Well, then I'm genuinely curious...why is whether or not Donald and Melania truly love each other so interesting to you? Why do you care? She is indeed moving into the White House, so it isn't really relevant to anything. And if you are discussing it in USA Politics, I think that it should actually be a subject that affects USA Politics. Maybe Social Issues or Forum Community is a better place for National Enquirer/People/US/Star types of discussions?

This is almost as bad as discussing the supposed mental illnesses of politicians; nobody here is in a position to actually discuss the issue rationally.

That is not love, that is convenience. Love is staying when there is no other reason to. Love is the "for worse" part of the vows.

I don't like people manipulating words so egregiously. The word this time just so happens to be love.
 
Melania has proven she isn't so stupid after all. She's obviously checked the statistics and has realised the place where she is most likely not to see Trump is in the Whitehouse...
