I think you may be right about the look.
Her White House portrait has the same gaze.

Aloof? Serious? Determined? :D Could be all three.

"Stank face" I think is the term you're looking for, although presumably she would have had some cosmetic surgery done that would inhibit facial expressions to some degree.

Since Melania has largely wanted to avoid this entire fiasco, I feel a bit sorry for her and don't think she should have criticism leveled at her for her association with Trump. (to be clear, i am not accusing you of doing that).

While I agree that we don't really have any idea of what Trump and Melania's marriage is really like, at least with Obama, there was plenty of other images and such published that showed them as a happy couple. That was the general image they presented, so the "michelle glaring at barack" sorts of images just come across as humorous aberrations.

Melania, however, has more or less stayed out of public view, and given that she doesn't live at the White House at the moment, it's much harder to project the happy couple image.

Well, she did marry a guy who is obviously a horrible little man, a dreadful toad with a cold and dull soul. This couldn't have escaped her notice before "I do".

That said, I don't bear her any ill will or, for that matter, attention.

By all accounts he can be charming. And he's nice to people that he likes, and he probably did like Melania at the beginning. They also say love is blind, and who is to say she never loved him? We can only assume things about her motivations.

All told, none of blame for any damage that Trump is doing to the US, its allies, democracy, the environment, decency or any individual that isn't Melania or her son, can be laid at her door.

If her relationship with Trump is unpleasant now, that's to be expected in my opinion, but it's no business of anyone else.

It would be kind of neat to live in the White House without having to be the president.

Then again, if you were billionaires, aside from the novelty, it might be a step down. I'm sure they visit frequently to get it out of their system.

I seriously doubt that love to each other was ever a part of their relationship.

What is love? Do you have the answer that has eluded philosophers, poets priests and kings? Somehow, I doubt that the mystery of existence has been solved by a participant of the USA Politics sub-forum, but I'm willing to be wrong on this one. :D
