Meet Alex Jones.

Hey, I for one trust the judgement of Charlie Sheen.
Wait till you naysayers feel their strafing runs!

Sometimes I wonder whether Alex Jones actually believes the stuff he is saying, and isn't just a power-hungry manipulator of men willing to accept absolutely anyone as minions as long as they are fanatically loyal.

If I could get a hivemind of thousands willing to obey my every command, and all I had to do was tell a few lies, I'd be tempted.

Talk about a cult. Jones could get probably get his follows to take refuge in a bunker with mounds of gold coins to escape the impending police state and economic crash(s). :boggled:

Holy $%( we are "911 Truth Deniers" now, that's cute! (a gem from a commenter)

Alex doesn't debate the experts properly. If I were him I would be scheduling debate tours. I'm sure he has some convoluted reason for not doing this. But let's look at his indictment of us naturalists.

"the atheists themselves, they've got their own religion, anybody who questions how the universe really works, and thinks that there's more going on than we even perceieve, they really shut down the debate, and they're a group of tyrants"

-"Alex Jones On The Creation, Evolution Debate" Trust me, you do not want to watch this.

Think of the top 10 atheist intellectuals and how many debates they have been a part of. Most of the relationships between the theists and atheists are quite cordial because we know they mean well and that they actually believe what they are saying. No one is trying to stifle anything, it's the opposite, it's completely out in the open air. Sure, pick and choose examples where this ideal isn't adhered to, but it's provably the general climate.

I think Hitchens went back and forth with Douglas Wilson for months online. Alex just cannot and will not engage in this direction because it's not in his nature.

Now think of how Alex Jones operates. When the debunking movement took off he screamed and yelled and carried on like a madman, blabbing about straw men. Where are the point by point refutations? Did he debate people and respond point by point to the debunking? No way, he can't do this, he doesn't have the infrastructure, it's not in his paradigm.

I would love to debate Alex Jones in a proper setting. In words online or in a properly moderated setting. As you can see from the Gravy video, it wouldn't be pretty.

Just because he doesn't debate people isn't exactly an indictment of him or his theories, but it does show that he has a gigantic blind spot that could be exploited.

Juniversal- they are indeed a cult. I know a man who has supposedly secured several hundred acres in Texas and is soon to "bug out". He is a regular follower of Alex Jones. The man is delusional

What kills me is that alex limits his villians with his own stupidity.

What would stop the nwo from walking into his house, and saying " So mr jones, you go on air tomorrow, you say you found jesus, or lost him, or whatever. But the gist is , that your going to say your sorry for manipulating people , and retract your statements, make it good mr jones, because not only your life hinges on this, but the lives of everyone you care about, that sheen character included. "

The " Bullet to the head." is the worst way they could go about it. But makes sense when you consider the person setting their level of power, isn't that bright of a gent to begin with.

And that is just an idea from me, an average guy. No supervillian, and certainly not someone with experience in these kinds of things. I am sure if they did exist they could come up with an even better plan.

Not only that but there's lots of things that the NWO could do to Jones without killing him. The NWO could plant child porn on Jones's computer or make it look like he cheated on his taxes. The NWO could do something as simple as have a guy going around claiming to be Jones's homosexual lover if the NWO didn't want to manufacture a fake crime to entrap Jones.

There's lots of things the NWO could do to Jones to discredit him without killing him or anyone else, and the NWO doesn't even do that? If I can come up with ideas like these, the NWO if they existed could do even better.

Never underestimate the power of fear mongering. :boggled:

That's just Alex Jones' way of convincing his flock that he has integrity. "They can't threaten me; they'd have to shoot me!"

My own favorite example of Jones Craziness is his "Watchmen" review. That is pure insane gold.

Apparently "The Watchmen" is an "illuminati/new world order threat to humanity"

I thought it was just a really screwed up comic book. I mean, blow up a bunch of nukes to stop the cold war? How ridiculous?

that just instantly gave me a mental image of an agent smith like character reading that post and stating to himself " We would?" as he presses the button that plants a kilo of coke in Jone's car.

And it is sad how obvious it is why he hates it.

It outlines that there are situations in which the worst moral choice, is the best choice for humanity. And for someone who tries to paint the world as the hero versus the villain, that can be problematic.

I've always said:
Hack into the Superbowl feed, ala "Used Cars", proclaim yourself to be the second coming, and tell them how to send money. You'd be filthy rich in seconds-days. Depending on how you set up the delivery of funds. Find enough morons to fall for the lies, then sit back and watch your creation!

No more ridiculous then Dr, Manhatten being able to travel to the Moon just by willing it. It's called Science Fiction.
BUt I 100% agree that Jones take on it is totally batcrap crazy.

I think that the ulitmate morality of the fake attack on New York was delibertly left up in the air by Moore.

You're thinking of the movie.

In the comic book, they went with the much more realistic choice of a genenetically engineered giant psychic faux-alien squid thing. :D

Maybe Jones will have Charlie SHeen as his co host, now that Sheen will have lots of spare time on his hands............

Yeah, if there really was such a vast plot, and If Jones really was exposing it,Alex would have been dead long ago.

That's my fault I'm afraid...ooops

Remember the IRS/CIA building in Austin plane crash...well, and this'll make you laugh...when I was taking down the co ordinates for Alex Jones' studio to program into the auto pilot I was in a bit of a rush copying them down before the secret explosive not paper secretly exploded....they should put a longer delay on it, some one get in touch with the Secret Explosive Paper Department Chief if you would...I've had my level 5 clearance suspended.....

.....anyhooo I was scribbling the numbers down and when I came to program the auto pilot I entered a 9 instead of a 4 and....well there you go...I fully appreciate that I had to be suspended but was a little shocked at getting put on Shill/Troll duty for the Icke forum
