I dunno. Thought that the acting was really good though, by everybody including Tom Cruise. It was the first movie that I saw Ken Watanabe in, and he is an amazing actor.

10pm 50 min of zazen together with Eliza

I feel like Jesus not liked ny Romans and soon will be crissiied :(

Crussify me, please! I don't want to hurt others any more or postpone their awakening by my rubbish speaking...

Um, if you want help in becoming a flagellant you will have to go elsewhere. Also they usually charge extra for that. Really, most here probably view you as an amusingly close minded fool. You are so involved in searching for enlightenment that you do not really see anything.

I once heard a story about a young student who was working at a zen temple. Every day he would go through the temple and clean all the rooms. He focused very hard on making everything clean and spotless. One day his master walked up to him and said, "Have you seen what is in my room?". The student started apologizing, "Oh Master, I'm so sorry. I'll clean your room again." The master just told him, "Go to my room and try to really see what is there." So the student went to his masters room and looked all around but he could not find what was out of place. He started cleaning the room again when the master walked in. "Don't you see?" The master asked him. "No, I'm sorry master." The poor student was close to tears now. So the master led him over to the corner of the room. There, in a simple vase, was a beautiful flower that the student hadn't even noticed. "Here is what I wanted you to see. You clean very well, but don't forget to see what is around you."

Don't sweat it kid, there is no such thing as an awakening. You haven't postponed anything.

:( I'll buy the "poor me" line, if only you're willing to take suggestions from others instead of expecting them to be just like you. Sorry you feel bad.

All this prostration and meditating and what have you learned? Why won't you tell us?

Please spend the time you'd spend meditating tomorrow by going for a walk in a park. Try to actually look at things and enjoy the world you live in, instead of wanting to "transcend" it, or whatever this enlightenment you speak of is supposed to do. Breathe the air, smell the trees, flowers and grass, smile at the people you meet, listen to the wind and the birds.

Then report back to us.

Who knows? maybe he's out breathing the air, smelling the trees, flowers and grass, smiling at the people he meets, listening to the wind and the birds :)

OTOH maybe he's sitting staring at the wall, or repeatedly prostrating himself :(
