Massive littering at Trafalga square

Trash including discarded signs littered the square in messy heaps. The area looked like a dump. Reading the signs I read "Stop Trump" what exactly do people want Trump to stop doing?

The DAILY MAIL is right up Trump's backside. It is a right wing pro-Brexit -pro-Nigel Farage, anti-Corbyn, reactionary paper whose owner is non-domestically domiciled (so much for his British patriotism his primary residence is listed as France).

It's basically a comic. The British middle classes regard it as the DAILY HORROR and want to be frightened by the hordes of illegal immigrants heading our way and the danger of the PC-brigade changing the status quo and champions Brit lager louts ruling the world.

Can I hope the trash included body parts of a recently malled and mauled politician from the US.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I was going to make a prediction about this the day before these indolent wastes-of-space had their little street-party "protest march".

They're always the same, where ever and whenever they're given the chance to get away with this **** - turn a locale into a shambles and expecting someone else to bear the cost of clearing up after them.

But hey, it's 'make work' overtime for the local council workers, isn't? Creative destruction! Socialism in action!

Well, the Daily Mail is biased because they didn't take any photos of the piles of litter discarded by Trump supporters.

I'm confuzled.

-- There were tens of thousands of people in the streets protesting against Trump with banners (among other things).

-- According to Trump, there were no protesters at all, just loving fans.

-- The Daily Mail loves Trump and fawns at his feet over every word. So there were no anti-Trump protesters according to them either.

-- The tens of thousands of (non-)protesters in the streets protesting Trump left a pile of protest banners as rubbish.

-- The Daily Mail photos show maybe a hundred banners piled neatly ready for pickup by garbage trucks, and one or two bits of paper on the ground otherwise. Could have been anywhere, any day in a big, dirty city like London.

-- Shock, horror...??

The photographs weren't very convincing.

And there's an implied equivalence between leaving a pile of signs at one locale in a city vs. altering the global atmosphere in irreversible ways. Not the same order of magnitude IMO.

Frankly it seemed to me the Daily Mail's effort was halfhearted.

Trafalgar Square is a filthy place at the best of times, as is most of London.

I trust most of us are aware that rational Brits call it the Daily Fail. There is a reason some people buy it or look at it.....Page three girls!!
