Finally, after driving all night and the next day, getting lost and several wrong turns we ended up here at about 3:00 pm and were SLOWLY processed in. I asked one of the guys where I was designated to. He said, "Berlin, NH." I said, My case manager in Florence told me Senator Marco Rubio's office had called to get that changed to closer to home." He said, "The BOP decides where you go. We don't care what any senator wants." Hmmm? VOTE!!!

Hey friends! It's Friday morning at 7 am MST. I packed my stuff yesterday so they will be moving me at any time. It may be today or it may be days from now BUT, I was just asked by my case manager to sign a release form for the BOP to release info about my situation to Senator Marco Rubio's office in Florida. Apparently he contacted them and is seeking t...o help me get closer to home! ...

Anyway, I will most likely be in the Oklahoma transfer center for a day or two so they can STILL change and designate me to PENSACOLA or Maxwell in Montgomery, AL which is 170 miles away. PLEASE contact Senator Rubio's office TODAY and ask that they designate me to inside my region according to BOP policy and as my sentencing judge recommended.

Kent Hovind

That's interesting because Hovind was moved away from the area because, in Hovind's own words, he violated federal prison rules.

Brother Hovind got in trouble with the chaplain in the federal prison where he was previously held. The chaplain actually tried to get Dr. Hovind in trouble on more than one occasion. And the chaplain told him to stop holding Bible studies. The chaplain called them “unauthorized meetings.” Dr. Hovind was following the rules that no more than 5 men could meet together. He kept holding the Bible studies (only with 3-4 others at a time) and witnessing to his fellow inmates whenever he could.

Now according to Kent Hovind, Marco Rubio is helping him. At the same time, Hovind wants people to vote for Romney, even though he was arrested, charged and convicted by a US Attorney appointed by George W. Bush.

Also I wonder if the federal prison system allows prisoners to have these types of email lists for prisoners to get their messages out? Because it seems prisoners are supposed to use email for:

Strengthening or re-establishing family ties helps inmates improve the likelihood of a successful re-entry into the community, thus reducing the potential for recidivism.

and the email list is limited:

Inmates are limited to sending and receiving electronic messages only from individuals on their approved contact list.

Two separate issues:

1) Rubio helping Hovind, whether Hovind himself or a supporter got Rubio involved it doesn't matter.

2) Hovind sending emails that are routed to email lists to mobilize supporters. If email is limited to family and significant others, Hovind might be violating policy by having his messages sent in bulk to supporters.

Kent Hovind calls himself "Prisoner of War" and wants prisoners released

In Kent Hovind's open letter to John Boehner and Congress, Hovind calls himself a Prisoner of war, claims Obama is a communist, wants 95% of federal workers fired (post offices, national defense, the Center for Disease Control, federal grants for cancer research, technological research to stay competitive globally and so on), and wants all federal prisoners released who commited crimes "on federal property like Post Offices and Military bases."

So Marco Rubio is helping Kent Hovind who, if we take at face value, wants Nidal Malik Hasan who killed 13 people and wounded 29 at Fort Hood, a US military base, in 2009 released because the crime was commited "on federal property like Post Offices and Military bases."

It really makes one wonder what "war" Hovind considers himself a "prisoner" of.

Open letter to House speaker John Boehner and all US Congressmen,

HOLD FIRM! NO TAX INCREASE FOR ANYONE! NO increase in the Debt ceiling! The government needs more money “from the rich” like a drug addict needs “one more fix” before he decides to quit or an alcoholic needs “one more beer” before he starts to sober up! STOP RIGHT NOW!

It should be obvious to anyone with one eye and half a brain that the REAL goal in all this political posturing by Barak Obama and many Democrats is simply the advancement of Communism in America. I don’t understand how ANYONE- Republican, Democratic or Independent can want to increase “revenues” even one more dime! There is a spending problem not a revenue problem but it goes even deeper than that!

You should follow the Constitution and “coin money” and shut down the mis-named “Federal Reserve” and put us on a real money basis. Why do you let private bankers print our “money?” Shut down about 95% of all government programs and lay off about 95% of the government workers and release all federal prisoners who did commit a crime on federal property like Post Offices and Military bases and scale the Fed WAY back to what the founders envisioned. Stop calling ANYTHING an “entitlement.” There are NO entitlements. No one is “entitled” to welfare, Social Security, Obama Care, Medicare, education or 1,000 other programs at the federal level. If ANY program cannot be found in the Constitution you swore to uphold, shut it down. Stop funding it! That is your job. That would “balance the budget” in 10 minutes!

So it appears Kent Hovind is signing all his correspondence now as a "Prisoner of War." For example, this "open letter" to the incoming Congress, Hovind claims that its unconsititonal for Congress to spend money in response to disasters.

Dear incoming Congressmen (and women), Please know that millions are praying for you to have wisdom and courage. We know you face giant challenges! Here is my unsolicited advice:

1. You just took an oath to defend the United States Constitution. Please follow it. Please remind the others you work with that they also should follow it. It's ...only a few pages long. Read it every month or so for a reminder of what you swore to.

2. You will be told if you don't do X,Y,Z you will not be re-elected. Don't listen to it. Follow the Constitution. Let it be the only lens you look at legislation through. For example-today you are being pressured to vote for spending money on Super-storm Sandy victims. Vote NO!!!!!!!! Where would authority to spend money for that be found in the Constitution. This is your FIRST test! DON'T fail it please!

There is NOTHING in the Constitution you just took an oath to support and defend that gives the federal government ANY authority to spend money on ANY relief like this. Tell those who ask why you voted against it that if they think the Federal government should be involved in disaster relief they should go through the process outlined in the Constitution to amend the Constitution and THEN you will be glad to vote for it. Obviously it can be amended.

4. Vote EVERY chance you have to get the feds OUT of the welfare business, health issues of any kind, education business, "drug war" business, space exploration, equal housing, forest management and 10,000 other things they currently spend money on in VIOLATION of the very Constitution they took an oath to uphold! Following that simple document will cut the size of the Federal government (including # of employees and budget) about 95% and balance the budget in 10 minutes.

5. Pass legislation that says no Federal government employee at any level will be paid unless the Senate and the House pass a budget with NO deficit and live by it. During the time the budget negotiations are going on no paychecks will be issued and all benefits stop and this lost income including all benefits will not be paid retroactively once a budget is passed. THAT will motivate them to make honest cuts! There has not been a budget for 3.5 YEARS! Where is the money coming from to pay all these millions of people? They ARE getting paid still.
